ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE - ONE BIG SEASON - SEASON 5
Welcome to a very simple game using the EPL season!
Nominated for Best Silly Game in the S49 Unofficial GPRO Awards!
BASICS
--> The game consists of picking a different team for every game week.
--> You will get points according to the result of the team you picked. You also get the goals scored and conceded which will be added to your own goal difference. As in real life, win is 3 points, draw is 1 point and a loss is 0 points.
--> There are twenty places available, for the 20 current teams in EPL. When those places are taken, participants can still join the game by picking a Championship team as long as they do that before the deadline of Week 1.
--> After that, any new player is invited to join the waiting list.
--> The season will last 19 game weeks.
RULES
--> You have to pick a different team every week.
--> All selections will be made in the thread.
--> Please, be clear with your selections.
--> Failing to submit your selection will result in picking the worst possible team in that game week. In case, there is no options for a common loser for all the teams that didn't pick, they will all get a default score of 0 - 3.
--> An invalid pick will result in a forfeited game (0-3 loss).
--> Failing to pick a team in two consecutive weeks, will make you eligible for replacement. People in the Waiting list will have the first chance to get that place.
--> If you have joined with a Championship team, your team will be deleted from the game if you fail to pick a team in three consecutive weeks.
--> If a Premier League becomes inactive (missing three consecutive picks), then any player with a Championship team can switch to the Premier League team while keeping his own picks.
--> You will have the right to a first refusal on your team next season only if you received less than 5 reminders.
JOINING
--> To join, post ##Join Team Name
--> For returning players:
If you want to keep your current team: ##Confirm Team Name
If you want to change teams: ##Leave Team Name
##Join New Team Name
If your team has relegated the previous season: ##Relegated with Team Name
##Join New Team Name (note that you can wait for the confirmation phase to be over in case you want to keep your team)
--> For not returning players:
##Resign from Team Name
--> If you do not confirm/switch teams until the deadline below, your team will be moved to the Available teams list.
--> First, the 20 Premier League teams must be taken before Championship teams can be taken.
--> Players who had a Championship team last season can switch teams if they wish to do so and if there are teams available.
--> If you happen to have taken care of an inactive team, you don't have first refusal on it and you are also invited to join the Waiting List for now.
--> If you are a new player, you are also invited to join the Waiting List until the confirmation deadline expires.
