The option for national liveries has been programmed.

I have a set of liveries sent by Carlos and Roberto. Please do check the quality before sending more. Make sure shading and positioning is correct and if you nick images for flags be sure there is no watermark visible....
I'll start uploading liveries in small bunches.

If you see bugs or errors please PM me with details.

Also, if a livery does not have the support of the majority of a nation, please sort it out amongst the fellow countryman, and let me know what alternative to use (+ file).
Files can be send to the graphics@gpro.net mail

Due to currency exchange rate, some nations might have financial difficulties when it comes to buying credits; therefore, they won't be able to use the national liveries. Speaking for myself, for example, I have to pay like 3.2x more just to buy the same amount of credits that a British player does (now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about that. It's how the economy works).

The national liveries were made by GPRO players, so I feel like the players have the right to use them without having to pay for credits... Unless the ones who made the liveries say otherwise. Just my opinion.

So I have a suggestion for that. I would add 2 liveries for each country. A supporter livery and a non-supporter livery. Obviously, the supporter livery would have a better design, while the non-supporter livery would look generic and as simple as possible.

Nevertheless, I have to say that it's really good to witness that feature being implemented. Keep up the good work!

Problem about all of this is that some teams already have their team livery based on their country flag or emblem... so that could be considered as attempt of coping.

All the liveries were made by somebody including the supporter liveries, if they're not a supporter they can't use them, I doubt national liveries will be handled any differently.

As long as the guy that created them got something out of it I have no problem with that. Sorry to shock you but even my friends from Yorkshire admit it's not a Nation ;)

A silly question. will any (supporter) manager be able to pick *any* national livery, or only the one(s) of his/her country?

(edited ^^):
It seems now there is no restriction (I have already tried -successfully- to choose them), but it seems a bit bizarre one can choose one of other different country (yet I guess no problem if the true reason is to simply offer more liveries, without any nationality meaning, to choose from).

true, so any national livery should have the support of the nation and not be a copy of a team livery. I hope a nation can settle this without look to me as a judge or policeman.

If you cannot support with being a supporter, but can support by adding a stunning livery, that is okay. But it cannot be accompanied with rights to use etc.
If you add livery as a non-supporter you have to take comfort in the fact that you make other ppl happy ;)
Your suggestion to upload 2 liveries is too complicated. But I am sure we can compensate a non-supporter player in some way for a significant contribution.

Yep, not ideal, but that is at as it is now. It would require some programming where nationality = code = national livery thingy....
The upside is that all players can now pick the same livery when another soccerteam (or other major event) is mourned.

For the rest, I already et complaints about liveries. A nation can PM me a link or send me a livery, but be sure it has the support of the nation. You can use the national fora for that.
I only do a quality check, and will not enter or mediate in any discussion about what livery should represent a nation.
