If in Practice/Qualify 1 view I run my 8 practice laps, making some changes to my car setup, and continue to Q1 in one go I can just click the radio button for Q1 and my car setup from practice is used in Q1 and everything is fine.

But if I first run my 8 practice laps and then exit the practice with for example using Home button and then go to Qualify 1 my car settings are not available and I have to fill them in manually from Practice laps data view to be able to run Q1.

When in Q2 I can copy setup from Q1 using » Get setup from Qualify 1 «. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to get the fastest practice lap time setup from Practice to Q1 using similar button?

You can click on the practice lap you want the setting from and it actually auto-fills the setup info for you in Q1.

Guys have already answered this correctly.
I will also add when testing it is the same.
If you do a few stints then need to replace a few parts to continue because parts have gone over 90% wear.
After you have finished upgrading the car return to testing and simply click on the past set up and adjust for any upgrades/downgrades if necessary in your set up
Good Luck 😊

Shouldn't it be the same as the Q1 setup?

I think Tomek meant to say;
"Should it be the same set up in Q2 as in Q1 ?"
Which is a very valid point if conditions change

Nope, I didn't. I just misread what Markus has written :-)

I've thought that he wants to copy into Q2 either Q1, either best practice :-)

But your point is valid, Andrew :-)

I actually did not know this. A great tip, thanks! I'll have to test this on my next Q1 session.
