Well, with one more match left to go in Division, Crowborough Athletic is the first team to clinch their promotion spot! RoPS and Minnesota United are also assured of at least a promotion playoff position, and Cambridge United is looking good to round out the 4 with the possibility of going up. RoPS will need a point against Crowborough next week to assure the automatic promotion as well, in what will be a pseudo-championship game for FP Division!

So I am guaranteed a draw, which means I am at least in playoffs?

E: Realised Everton is unmanaged so I got the win as I have a draw on one of my last three matches. And I cannot chase second place anyway lol

And as for the final standings...

We begin in Division, where Crowborough Athletic had already assured themseleves promotion, and RoPS does just enough to join them! They squeak out a draw, which puts them 1 point clear of Cambridge United (who whould have had the tiebreaker). However, it's not all bad news for Cambridge United, as they still get to be in the promotion playoff, along with Minnesota United. But who will they be going up against?

In the Championship, we already knew it was MK Dons going up, but who would join them? Well it came down to a tiebreaker, but Stourbridge and manager Kyle Morris barely beat out Glasgow Rangers, as while Rangers defeats them in the match, Stourbridge's offense is enough to send them automatically through! Rangers will be in the promotion playoff, so they still might be able to set up a rematch date with Stourbridge for next season.

On the other end of the table, Barry Town pulls out a nice win over NY Red Bulls, who lose a nice chance at promotion. However, for Barry Town, this pulls them out of the automatic relegation, and still gives them a life line to stay in the Championship for next season. Joining them in the do-or-die playoffs will be Newcastle United.

Finally, with the champions crowned last week, VVV Venlo didn't have all that much to play for, but still defeat Mantova, sending the former Premier League Champions to the brink of relegation! Mantova will now have to face Glasgow Rangers for the right to stay in the Premier League -- an intriguing matchup of two former champions. Saying goodbye to the Premier League for now are Jagiellonia Bialystok and Malacca United, two clubs who just couldn't get it going this season -- especially Malacca United, which dealt with management issues all season.

Er, I never had the chance to overtake RopS. I believe their total points is wrong as you missed a game from them (they are on 6-3-1, where 11 games should have been played)

Promotion/Relegation Playoffs

Pretty straightforward this week. Win and you're in the higher of the two leagues? Lose and you're in the lower one....

Matches to be predicted (all times CET):

Peru vs. Denmark - Sat 18:00
Frosinone vs. Palermo - Sat 20:30 (Italy: Serie B Playoffs)
Valladolid vs. Numancia - Sat 20:30 (Spain: LaLiga2 Playoffs)
Costa Rica vs. Serbia - Sun 14:00
Halmstad vs. AFC Eskilstuna - Sun 17:30 (Sweden: Superettan)
Sweden vs. South Korea - Mon 14:00

DEADLINE - SATURDAY June 16th, 18:00 CET

Premier League/Championship Playoff
Mantova - Glasgow Rangers

Championship/Division Playoffs
Barry Town - Minnesota United
Newcastle United - Cambridge United

Remember to send all 3 of the following:
Predictions
Scorelines
Tiebreaker

/gb/NewMail.asp?IDM=25844&txtSubject=Promotion%20Playoffs

TIE-BREAKER PREDICTION: Specify the minute (from 1st to 90th) when you think the fastest goal from the matches above will be scored. Example: if you think the first goals in each match were scored in the 14th, 42nd, 31st and 12th minute respectively, just say 12th minute. (Source to be used for tie-breaker verification: Soccerway.)

If you send scorelines only, I will assume a prediction befitting that scoreline - for example: if you said 2 - 1, I will assume a Home win. If you miss the first deadline, send me the outcomes to the remaining matches.

Well, I believe it's time to make an official announcement.
RL has been taking much of my time and I even lost the DL to send my picks one week.
I'll have big changes soon in RL as well, so I better leave room for someone else.

That said, I'll be retiring from FP League, so I believe it's unfair to not let Mark promote.
I won't send my predictions for fairness.

I'll take part in FP WC and that will be my last tournament here.
I wish you guys the best of luck in the FP future :)

I'll echo what Kyle and Mark both said -- I'm sorry you have to go, as you've been a great champion of the game. However, I completely understand, and if you ever decide to come back, know that there will be a spot waiting for you so you can try and take a third team to the Premier League Championship.

As for the match between you and Mark, I am happy to also make it a "Mantova Testimonial" if you'd like to send picks. Then it would be a friendly, with Mark promoting, regardless of the result.
