I have to talk about some problem I had last race (S68 Race 9).

My car had a puncture in the lap 44 and could not finish the race??? even in my race strategy I had selected "If a problem occurs, should the driver pit if the problem can be solved? >> "Yes"
If "Yes" then enter pits only if more than "20" laps are remaining (0 - 71). So if 28 laps was remaining, the question is:
Why my car didn't enter the pits to repair the puncture? I guess it could be a bug or I don't understand this item.

Evenmore in the same race the wear in the new suspension was 97% (start wear=0, final wear=97%??) even tough it used to be <20% in this circuit from 43 laps and level 6 at low risk (15%).

Till this time nobody answered me about this question. May be for the weekend...

Be good & have fun!! :-)

Tyre punctures are random events that can happen to anyone at anytime. Sometimes, your car can make it back to the pits, but other times, they cannot.

The puncture looks like it damaged your suspension too.

So, you have been unlucky - you will probably only have a tyre puncture once every few seasons.

it's an unlucky tyre blow out....
aka random issue (nothing to prevent it either)

and it happens that other parts gets damaged , which is just ships!

As others have said it is just random.

So you know you are not alone in this, I had the same experience last race. Tire puncture on lap 27 – DNF - and suspension use jumped to 94%. So like you, the suspension was heavily damaged. One of those racing things.

It happened to me in Mexico Season 45, the suspension 0% broke and denied me a podium, on my OBP race.

No puncture, just the suspension broke. At the time frustrated me more than usual, but I finally accepted it.

Did you go heavily into negative before that race?

Sorry to hear that Vin. Thanks for your time.
My proposition will be in that case for a message to make it clear in the race analysis. :-)

I think malfunction risks add's up to the wear when any damage is done to the car. What type of percentage IDK, maybe using 0 MF risk would have allowed you to get to the pits ?

If a problem occurs, should the driver pit if the problem can be solved?

The problem could not be solved, that's why the car did not enter the pits.

Any other explanation or justification is just unbased speculation

It looks like "The car couldn't reach the pits so it retired. The suspension wear is from the puncture". Thanks Vlad & Flo for your answer and your amazing job in the game :-)

My car reach pitstop, suspension usage is 14% but didn`t change tyre and didn`t come out. Any idea why? It should be like that? Why problem cannot be solved if it`s only puncture and I reached pit.

You pitted as normal on lap 26, came out of the pits, then suffered a race-ending puncture on lap 28.
