No way. How that happened I don’t know. I needed the scores to align perfectly and somehow it did.

Commiserations Grant. Must be a huge blow to lose the No. 1 spot after holding it for so long!

And thanks to Baliant for organising this game!

Wow. It took Chew a replay to defeat me with equal skill while he defeated Grant without a replay. Amazing. Congrats, Chew! Well deserved.

Congratzz Chew, you won the final match like how Joseph Schooling defeated Phelps in the Olympic.

Balint: What a game! Four seasons and four different champions! If Grant can win it next year that will make 5 different champions. This is a very tough game. :-)

Honestly this is probably the best Silly Game around at the moment and the amount of work that has been done to make this work perfectly is just amazing! Can't wait for another number of years of this game!

Thank you so so much for the kind words everyone :)

According to the seasonal effects of Training chart: https://i.imgur.com/gwY6DfL.png

Clay losses:
Jed Howorth, Vin Struder, Lyee Chong, John Ibbotson, Nate Lung, Mateusz Siwiński, Christian Anello lose 1 Clay Skill.

Grass losses:
Grant Crouch loses 2 Clay Skills.
Kyle Morris, Alan Halford, John Ibbotson, Christian Anello, Mike Baston, Rocco Stallone, Martin Irla lose 1 Grass Skill.

Hard losses:
Mateusz Siwiński and Alan Halford lose 1 Hard Skill.

--

There has been a small calculator showing below the Race to Sofia. It showed that 100% of players advanced to 16 Clay Skill, 83% of players advanced to 21 Grass Skill, and so on.
As of early Season 4, any time a statistic reaches 90%, an instant, free point unlocks for any rookie that decides to join.
Any Season 5 rookie would start their season with one Clay/Grass/Hard Skill in place.

Up next:
- Sunday: New thread, potentially stats
- Next Sunday: Start of the new season.

If someone missed less than two deadlines, they are automatically confirmed for Season 5.
If someone missed between 2 and 8 deadlines, they need to confirm their S5 participation.
If someone missed 9 or more deadlines, they are removed from the GBT Rankings.

So therefore I'll only ask for confirmation from @Gilmar Rocha (A51), @Lyee Chong (A61), @Rocco Stallone (R31) and @Martin Irla (P4), while I removed Quentin from Season 5.

A final batch of statistics in the traditional way.

https://i.imgur.com/AW7qYQk.png

Season 5 rule changes:
- No Hard Matches will require a second, unique submission. Among the many scenarios, it was difficult to keep track, what happens in case of all the different possible ties. Starting next year
- After every Tiebreak, both sides will receive a reminder about how many Tiebreak Points they have left. Asking for the remaining TB points, going 'all-in' without naming an actual number, etc. are still allowed.
- The hardcourt matches of the Players' Cup will not show the amount of points used during the matchup. (Using Kyle's suggestion, example: https://i.imgur.com/XWhT3z0.png )

The new thread will be up tonight, the first deadline being Sunday 25th August, 22:00. Thank you again for playing!

Glad the hard court players cup is being changed. Means no more guaranteed loses/wins after the 3rd round
