Damn, that a good looking car. Its a shame you had to spend 50 credits to have it though.

Worth It IMO. Rather have a livery that's not the same as everyone else.

Haha, you are a BIG McLaren fan right David? Awesome! The livery looked great. The normal livery is good, but it's a bit stale. The Lando Ricciardo combination is epic, and McLaren are coming strong, surely they will get a win this season just sadly not in the beautiful Gulf colors. But maybe David will get the win for them! :)

Yeah I am a McLaren fan, moreso with Lando behind the wheel as he is from my neck of the woods. High hopes he will be world champion eventually.

I'll try get a win but given its my first season in pro, I think it will be more a case of avoiding relegation :D At least I can do it in style!

Why Ricciardo and not Norris for McLaren?

Because the One-Two is going to be Ricciardo, Norris. It's an omen. And he has more cool. And CHA. :-)

I was really thinking next year's championship but meanwhile I'll take this one too.

I have some inside info from the graphic department that the liveries are already in the works. And yes, their shape will be different.

Would the new template also become available for own designs? Or how long would we need to wait before it'll become available?

Asking for a friend ;)

tell your friend: probably yes, like always. But since it require and 2nd layer to be uploaded, we need to experience how good ppl are with following extra guidelines.
And we need to wait till the real cars are public to see what a good generic design is.

The initial template had some issues with porpoising and overheating brakes. That was solved but now the sponsors want more room to show their logo's. Work is being done on a compromise.

Did Merc sponsors complain? It might be due to Mercs no-side pod design rather than it being down to otherwise excellent GPRO designs ;)

looking good, maybe you can add more shadow on the outlet grill to make it look like the real side pod curve like the real one.

thanks Sahil... It has already been discussed with the graphic boss and i must follow the indications from GPRO crew for creating a general common template which can fit all the various cars. So, i have to find some compromizes °_°
