They've had bad ones here in the US, too in California. They get them every year. Is that the same case in Portugal?

Yes every year is the same or worst than year before this 2017 so far is the worst of the XXI
This last weekend... the fires where so wild... 41 people got killed buy somke and other injuries and lots of farms ans factories got burned also...
in August, we had another terrible week... 61 people got killed by smoke and around 30 of them get car bloked in one main road that crosses a forest
... (imagin die burned alive inside your own car)
But we should have lots of rain this month here in portugal...
year after year fire got worst... since 2013
global warming is scary

That sucks.
California gets dry every year, and this one is worse, last few years weren't so bad, though. Global warming is scary, I agree.
