That was the post Mike was talking about

I know. I was explaining why Phil hadn't gotten lynched for it.

1st. Thanks for hosting Rocco :) not a perfect debut but by no means a disaster - wehn can end of day vote counts?

2nd. I think blaming the late game players for loosing is a bit like blaming a couple of penalty takers in a football match who missed in the shootout, ignoring the fact the whole team had been playing for 120 minutes previous. We were lucky to bag the cop & watcher on night 1 cos we really didn't have good hunches (I certainly didn't). Michal as practically confirmed town stopped playing after Edo had sacrificed himself to save him, then the following night Pedro just curled up with his legs in the air so it was a bit of a comedy of errors really.

3rd. I think Kirsty's town play is essentially the crux of why it went to the wire. Excellent play & excellent reads on Kevin / Jeremy

4th. Jack, your read on me was obviously correct but your lynch case was easy to deal with. You missed that I'd already said I would support Jeremy so your facts were wrong, saying I was willing to lynch anyone was speculative & slanderous (even as scum I wasn't willing to lynch anyone - case in point) and when you started raging & calling me dumb all I had to do was stay calm & let you look like you're panicking. Also - while I don't play to be acknowledged by others - if you must know, post 339 on scum QT is where I see a potential way to get the win over the line. & that was about 3/4 way thru day 2

5th. GG all

it did sound a little too confident, but I didnt see it as much diff to me saying who would be my buddy then.

But I still read it again a couple of times.

But if he had said "just face it, if I'm scum, you have no idea who could be my buddy," nobody would have batted an eye at it.

Only read thing now & again but wasn't there somewhere where Phil looked like he slipped by referring to another player not knowing who his buddies were? And a couple of players referenced it as well soon after.

What the hell happened after that to keep him alive?

Eh?

Kirsty, in all honesty, would you have thought I was scum if I had pushed a lynch on someone else in D1?

What did it for me was you not challenging Kevin or him you when us three were bickering. When Kevin flipped scum, I just felt sure you would too.

I wasn't about to say it in the thread at the time, because I know about how it would've gone over, but I really just didn't have the time. I was at work, and it was all I could do to keep up with our conversation. No way you would've believed that, though lol.

I hesitated a lot, because you made sense saying there wasnt really anything to ask of him or challenge him with. But every time I read it back, it was just you two taking turns, usually one or the other of you would start looking at other things, other ideas.

Yea, that was a big tell tbh, should have pushed that more tbf. also should have looked back more at Kevin defending Phil over his hammer D1.

Well played Kirsty, got most of the job done, unlucky with the last call.

Yeah, I'll agree with that. You did play quite well, but just because you were blinkered on the right people, doesn't negate the fact that you were indeed blinkered.

I suppose if you hadn't been blinkered though, I would've weaseled my way out of being lynched again.

Grow a pair Jack. You lost. You were part of that happening, you made stupid choices too.

Stop it with this "You lost" thing. Because WE lost. And this contributed to it.

Quote ( Jeremy Davis @ November 7th 2015,00:17:22 )

the first thing you said in the Dead Thread was "It's Kirsty.

I said that based on what was also said by you and Kevin in the dead thread. That was not my opinion before I got there (I actually had no clue because I literally had a scum read on everyone at that point, which again didn't help when I was tasked with essentially trying to get a conclusive case on someone in one post) but my point is that there was no discussion about this in the thread. I did eventually figure this out in the dead thread before all was revealed IIRC which proves my point.

I have never yet tried to say I didn't lose. I am the biggest reason we lost, I made the final choice that caused it. That's the diff, I can see what others did wrong, but I am not trying to deny what I did wrong.

Yeah, but it was always clear they would vote each other, Freddie hesitating in me being town seemed fake concern, as it was very obvious

But yeah, I got it wrong, now shut up :P

You're right. There was no way that either of them was going to vote for you, in the end.

For the record, even though I knew Freddie was town, I still thought he was feigning his hesitation and suspicion on you, in order to look town. I probably would've gotten it wrong, as well, if I were in your shoes.
