I've been patiently waiting for that.
I can only speak from my own experience but the sponsor system has worked fairly and rewarding for the effort, once I figured out how... IT worked.
Perhaps, a second look at the ability to hold sponsors for a car spot that is occupied. Limit a sponsor 'on hold' to maybe 17 - 20 - 32 races whatever could be deemed as fair. That would relieve some of the top side imbalance in negotiation possibilities and recycle sponsors a little quicker.
PROMOTION sponsor... is a hindrance to planning and restricts the ability to manage negotiations. As Kirsty so famously says 'Blurghh'
Patrik, step back and consider what would be necessary to form a cartel of any kind.
1 How many teams?
2 How many managers would be included?
3 How would this escape admin supervision of the game? (Possible, but in this place, it would be in the forum and the community would be as we are for DA's and DE and a few others I'm sure)
Scenario: despite the above..
Two Top Elite teams working together to achieve.... what? Not disparaging to anyone, but if I was in Elite level competition, I would not trust the other party.
If it were possible for you (sic your team) and I (sic my team) to solve DE. Would you share with me, some detailed elite level playing information? I know my team would be all for it. :)

I understand why you are annoyed with me Patrik, I don't quite get what it is you are accusing me of though?
If it helps matters I am not a DA of Roland, or Winkles or anyone else for that matter (having met my teammate a couple of years back I suspect he could vouch for my authenticity, aside from that I have so much stuff about me online I don't think anyone could fake that)
I also did write that post, I wasn't agitating for change though just giving my opinion
I also still do consider you to be a bit of a bell end, and sadly that's a situation that I don't see changing.
If you have a problem with me or anything I do please come to me and kindly state it, that way I can call you a bell end in private and save you some embarrassment

On topic:
Without knowing what the poll numbers are, I would expect that you may have second thoughts on corporal punishment for successful managers.
The rest of the antics and discussion are not on topic and getting boring. I have enough headlines about 'possible calamities, financial despair, 'the fix' being in and all that stuff.
Then the Internet screams new world order, and the illuminati and some rubikscubers and the aliens among us and this other conspiracy... blah, blah fake news blah blah. Not providing concrete evidence, but presenting in a controlled manner and closely edited, whatever garbage people will 'like' or go on social media and comment.
I believe in conspiracies like I believe in Santa Clause. I know who HE IS... I was told as child.... were you not??
and now I pay the bills. Damn parents, always lying to their kids. It's a conspiracy, I tell you!

Well Kevin, your most arguments are acceptable. And I decided that I won't debate on the other things for a while. If you felt yourself lashed out, I can tell you that it wasn't my goal.

Oops. On topic, I think every manager in Elite and all my group managers who beat me in this race... well, they should be beaten with a blunt object.
I would do it myself but I wouldn't want to waste a 'blunt'.

There are more than 7 million persons on the Earth, who don't play this game. :/
Edit: driver energy also frustrates me, this is the numero one reason why I missed (probably) my last race in Elite.
...the moment when the game lost its sense for me; the moment after then cheating and boredom don't matter anymore.
I played this game till S56 because I am such a noob, and could easily connect to the upper leagues of autosport.
