In this strange period of being closed at home, what about playing more GPRO?

Is it possible to have a race everyday or every 2 days ?

I suggest you look for some silly games instead :)

Not everyone is sitting at home, there are people still working daily so speeding up the game is not really a good idea.

In gpro, the race is only an hour and a half.

Between races, analysis is a useful activity.

How'bout new being trying https://fold.it/

You don't have to be a scientist to do science! Download and play Foldit and you can help researchers discover new antiviral drugs that might stop coronavirus! The most promising solutions will be manufactured and tested at the University of Washington Institute for Protein Design in Seattle.

4,5 minutes introduction video https://youtu.be/bo99JjnfdA8

Note: Foldit is an interactive computer game and not a distributed computing project. If you would like to donate idle CPU cycles to science, please check out the Rosetta@Home project on BOINC.

http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/

Basically the difference is that fold.it is a game where you create/manipulate proteins and get points for it, the best ones will be manufactured in a lab. Corona virus is a project/puzzle there.

There are tutorials to start with.

Rosetta@home is more of a passive thing for you, where you can donate your unused computing power for the cause.

They aren't completely separated entities, as some of the results of the rosetta calculations end up as fold.it puzzles

So.. you could participate in both, let the boinc do calculations when you're not feeling active, and do fold.it when you feel like being more active (gaming)

Perfect opportunity to open up private leagues. Everyone starts the season with the same finances, car level etc.

Just my opinion of course. Those that don't have the time can play the usual gpro as normal twice a week.

Any thirsty managers can sign up to private leagues

Are you serious? :O

We need to go to work here in India. As well as travel (with precautionary measures)

If things get worse, India might have a lockdown of some sort

Yeah because you're barely testing anybody. Just shut your eyes and the virus isn't there, right?

Even with barely testing, you have 4000 confirmed cases in the UK by the way.

that is true jasper, as i said my wife is a senior nurse in A+E, she hasnt been tested although there have been cases, but yet she is allowed to come home and potentialy infect my kids and i,, i think every 1 will have it soon, which is probably why the english government is acting so slow,, stiff upper lip syndrome lol
