Welcome to the brand new Season 105!

In the past few seasons a lot of missing functionality has been migrated from the classic web to the GPRO app (https://app.gpro.net). While there are still a few things left, you can give it a second look in case you were put off in the early days and post some feedback so we can keep improving it.

We've also added some new shiny driver caps, racing suits and driver backgrounds, so don't forget to check them out. In the mean time we will appreciate if you keep the positive reviews of the GPRO app coming on the various platforms, as this helps us fill the rookie groups. Happy racing!

Welcome to the spring edition of GPRO, also known as Season 104!

We want to bring your attention to the 2025 international GPRO meeting place and dates. The meeting will take place in Bucharest, Romania, between 25th and 27th of July. If you are up for a weekend of fun activities with fellow managers (karting, bowling, sightseeing, watching the F1 race, discussing driver faces and more) don't hesitate to join! More details, information and questions about the meeting organization will be posted in this forum topic as they become available.

Good luck and happy racing!

For this season we've done multiple tweaks to the staff and facilities section. Staff salary and facility maintenance costs have been decreased allowing you to invest more into staff training, the costs for which have also been decreased. The randomness for pit stops has been lowered and the rate at which fuel goes into the car has been decreased (thus increasing refueling time). When making your strategies you should expect that refueling bigger amounts of fuel will take a bit longer than before. We have also completely reworked the history section of the game (this was actually a huge task!), it no longer uses scraped static text files, allowing us to port it to the GPRO app. And last but not least 26 brand new national helmets with free use for GPRO supporters have been added to the game!

For this season we've added 6 brand new shiny helmets based on real life designs. Check them out in the helmet shop.

In the background we've continued working on the new app interface of the game, once we implement all remaining missing functionality from the classic web, which should happen step by step over the next few seasons, we will switch our focus again on working on new features. In the mean time have you switched your data gathering tools to the new GPRO API already? If not now is a good time to do it!

Good luck and happy racing!

Welcome to the brand new tweaky Season 101! After receiving extensive feedback last season, for this season we've implemented multiple tweaks in the game. You will get additional status reports from your PR staff when multiple managers from the same team are negotiating with a given sponsor. Sponsor payouts (for new contracts) have globally been slightly decreased and sponsor warnings for missed races have been reinstated. When taking decisions on the best offers, drivers and technical directors on the staff market, will give more value to a stable salary than the offered bonuses. Last but not least, the effects from certain staff skills have been tweaked, while the global staff and facilities deterioration rate have been slightly reduced to make their overall ROI a bit better.

We are happy to let you know that from this season you can use the new web interface of GPRO (https://app.gpro.net) as a beta feature. While we will label it as beta as some non critical features are still missing or in development, it is fully functional for all management related tasks of your team. In the new web interface (which is based on the GPRO app) you will also find the documentation of the GPRO API for data gathering. While there are still no hard deadlines we recommend all tools that currently scrape the game website for data to convert their code and access the official GPRO API instead. In the near future access to the classic web interface will no longer be allowed for tools and data scraping. As usual we are open to feedback and suggestions on what can be improved.

If you are up for a weekend of fun activities with fellow managers (karting, bowling, sightseeing, watching the F1 race and more) don't hesitate to join! Brace yourselves! As leaked elsewhere last season, we are working hard behind the scenes on a new web interface (similar to the GPRO app) which is planned to replace the current web interface in the future. While there is still no time frame for this update, a rough estimate is 3-5 seasons (unless there are unforeseen roadblocks) before a beta of the new interface is made available, and then another couple of seasons polishing to make things stable. No panic though, the old classic web interface that you are all used to will continue to be available for years ahead (if not forever) but it will only be maintained (with no further new development). Good luck and happy racing during the new season!

A quick reminder that from this season we are replacing the controversial and complicated "90% race distance" rule with the "112% race time" rule. The new rule will simply compare your final race time with the group winner's race time and if your race time is within 112% of the winner's race time you will be classified and will receive 100% of the race earnings, otherwise you will get only 50% of the race earnings. The "112% race time" rule will not apply to Rookie groups. All related help section material has been updated, however if you find anything missing or not updated, please let us know in the bug forum.

Good luck and happy racing!
