With only 9 managers starting the first 3 races of the season, I don't think that this forum will get very active :(

GPRO is not a quick win game...….as a beginner you need to have the patience to build your game knowledge and data.

Hi everyone,

I am new to the game and really can't wait to not finish last for once I really need some sort of advice!

I am now in negative money figures after having to replace my engine, suspension, gearbox and underbody. It is only my SECOND RACE and I am already having to replace things!😠😠

Although, I think that the remainder of this season is just going to be a tester

Hello racers!

Does anyone have any idea why the number of people racing in this groups is reducing by the week?

I guess many are newbies and the frequency of races suprise them or they just dont have enough time. To be honest, if there was just one race per week i would be "happier".

That'is a good theory Alexandr. Good race, but it looks like the softs (two stops) won this one!

Yeah. This is more or less my first season so i am testing the tires and usually wasting a lot of their potential by pitting early.

In my case i missed quali as i hadn't actually left work when it closed due to a lengthy teleconference covering redundancy where i work.

From past experience Rookie is usually at best half full of people competing but this one does seem lower to me. Maybe also due to lack of F1 going on.

Hi @Laurens Hengeveld (R137)

Welcome to the grid. Good luck in finding your way up the grid. We are generally a quite bunch; it is always great to have a chat with someone about our races.

@Lenin Chari (R137) Thanks! Unexpected result last race! (P7) Seems like fuel & tire management can really make a difference even when the pace isn't so hot. Let's see what happens tuesday :D

Welldone @Laurens Hengeveld (R137) ! I blew a Tyre mid-race and finished last. I am yet to figure out what I did wrong because all my car parts were relatively fresh. Perhaps my risks were too high or something. I agree with you on tyre/fuel management; they can really make a difference. My driver is not very talented so I tend to do well only when my strategy is spot on. Good luck tomorrow!

@Lenin Chari (R137) Thanks! Same to you. Bad luck with the tire! Maybe it's just luck, or perhaps indeed the risks taken... who knows. Gonna be interesting what the rain will do on track later today...

Hi All,

Good luck this season, i hope we have al lot of fun.

I can see that there a lot of managers who don't have a driver for the first race.
That's is a pitty.

What's it gonna be?

Full wet race or is't getting dry during the race?
And if it's getting dry after how many laps?

I tell you after the race! :)

Good luck to all.

It paid off well for you! I was attempting to finish the race with a single stint on rains and then a single long one on hards. Didn't work out at all!

the rain probability was 0-1% so you can inspect that the rain wouldn't last long.

and a pitstop time in/out was 25.5 sec. so you can lose a couple of seconds p/lap when you start on dry tyres.
a lessons learned. ;)
