Durability of 8 vs durability of 2 means softer compound in every race. It's that simple. Yokos are unpickable now.

Unless a bar of performance is worth more than it used to be...

Even if it was worth more, the softer compound means you'll compensate for that extra bar most of the times + you'll be saving much more money to invest somewhere else. The simplicity is killing me, they must have done something. :P

it's very interesting to see tyre expansion that will actually lead to uniform pick of 1 specific tyre for Pro and Master managers, while Elite managers will remain mostly with Michis.

lol, nice try

Contracts are signed until the end of the ongoing season
You cannot cancel a contract until it runs out at the end of the season
Managers in Amateur and Rookie groups can only sign a contract with Pipirelli

I think with the implementation of new tire suppliers, there should be some sort of pre season testing allowed for managers ( With high costs like 10 millions maybe ) to get an idea of what these tires do, which will lead in fair selection of tires as per the expectations :p

If everyone in my group picks Avonn tyres then it's an easy choice for me ;)

Maybe Yoko dominates until now... but what goes around comes around. The Yoko dominating Pro only came about when the price of Badyears went up. A couple of tweaks for next season & it can be all change again.

Some tyres actually did end up as pointless now. Hopefully for next season some things are changed and one brand added to that very expensive list to make Elite a bit more interesting.

hmm yeah, toygun was just saying that in elite thread. thing is, if you bring in what's missing there - which is something like 6 dry bars, 6 wet bars, 20C peak, 8 dura, 2 warmup....unless everyone except title contenders are priced out of the market, it will make the choice of michi or bridgerock obsolete.
