R.I.P Mika Myllylä and Georg Plasa
With Plasa, I lost another hillclimb hero after Lionel Regal:(
Plasa died at the Italian round at Rieti, where his F1-Judd engine powered M3 BMW left the road at over 200 km/h. He died on the way to the hospital and was 51 years old.
At Les Rangiers(CH) in 2005:

I'll miss him as much as Lionel;(

Sad news?? She found what she deserved it. That´s all I'm not pleased saying that but, Ángel is more than right, alcoholic, addicted to drugs, such a TERRIBLE example of how NOT to do with her glory! Her song fits exactly what she did... Rehab:
They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said, "No, no, no" Yes, I've been black but when I come back you'll know, know, know I ain't got the time and if my daddy thinks I'm fine He's tried to make me go to rehab, but I won't go, go, go
She won't going FOR GOOD! :D R.I.P. crazy Amy.

Drug prices in London plummet on news of her death.

Anyhow, it's sad to say she got what she deserved. She could have lived many years. I liked her music.

It is sad yes but surprising - no.

Or maybe when they tried to make her go to rehab she shouldn't have said "no, no, no" :)

Thanks Keri !
All my thoughts are with the victims and their families of this incomprehensible act of violence in Norway where more than 85 young people have been send to death by a murderer ... :(

The guy on that island enrages me beyond speech. I hope "justice" is served with maximum effect on that coward.

How do you set about punishing such a criminal? Bring back the medieval torture procedures.

They said that maximum sentence for him will be like 21 years - if he is found guilty to "terrorism"

Of course!!
Either that or give him absolutely no attention for months on end and let his mind rot away beneath 4 grey walls forever.
Cannot believe that UK news channels have decided that Winehouse's death is more important...

They said that maximum sentence for him will be like 21 years - if he is found guilty to "terrorism" In Finland they would send him in hospital for medical research. Then they tell that he's mentally sick and send him in prison for 2 years. Because he's first time in there he would get only half of his sentence. After all he would be free after 8 months in prison because of good behaviour... Same time some man robs the bank and threats the banker with unloaded gun. He gets at least 6 years prison because of violent robbery. He gets out of the prison after 3 years :)
*note that this is just my point of view of Finnish law system. All numbers are nearly random ;) **End off-topic, sorry had to write text...
That's very sad news from Norway. R.I.P all who died :(

21 years? WHAT? I assume the laws of Norway assume people can be trained to be useful membes of society given time.
One adult with a concealed hangun permit cold have preventd it. 85 kids, he reloaded over and over. I would have shot that bastard several times and slept very well that night.
On Winehouse, how will her drug dealer make his multiple car payments now? What a tragedy!

Until they go crazy in the head and kill another 85 people.

Im personally struggling to come to terms with 85 children / adults killed like that in cold blood.
I cant imagine the fear they felt and I cant imagine the grief, being a father, of finding that out. This guy should be killed, plain and simple, and if it was my daughter, he would be,
So so sad about this. Rest in peace, and we should all continue to fight for peace, its our duty.
Black livery for me.

I assume they'll have to put him in isolation for the time he is in prison or he won't make it when the other inmates find out who he is. In Sweden he would probably get like 14 years or something. We don't have lifetime in prison as they have in USA and other countries.
|
|
|
He should be shot in the head to prevent possibility of it occurring again in my opinion. Torturing would be inhumane and any imprisonment would be too small punishment.

Yeah 14 years for murder.... (i dont know the numbers but i trust fredrik)
The thing is in sweden you can only be punished for the worst crime you comit so if you kill one person 14years if you kill 2 persons 14years.
But i guess in usa he would get lifetime x 85 or death row (depending on state)
(Fredrik correct me if im wrong but i think that would explain it)
About the issue. I cant imagine the fear the parents would feel before they got a chance to contact their kids who participated in this event. if their kids was with the 85 or not it would still be realy horrible to be waiting. my feelings are with all of you.

Quote ( Alin Costrasuc @ July 23rd 2011,23:45:36 )
14 is maximum ?
No idea, but people tend to not be in prison in sweden more then 10-12 years no matter if they got more years then that.
One thing is for sure, this guy doesn't deserve to live imo. I don't like the death penalty, but in this case I think it's the only right thing.

They tried to make her go to Rehab...she shoulda said yes, yes, yes
