We have 2 managers in our team from Yaroslavl - both changed liveries.

I've changed as well but don't want to discuss it as more or less important than deaths of other people. Our colleague's son was killed by a car in Birmingham a few days ago, and Welsh supporter was killed near Wembley on Tuesday - it happens and it's terrible...

if we all used the black livery, wouldn't the race look a bit boring?

It's not so important - will be race boring or not. For me and for many people in Russia, Belarus and other countries near Yaroslavl crashed part of life, part of heart.

Okay, a little reminder of the guidelines for this particular topic:

- this topic is used only for announcing that you will use a black livery for some reason

so
- this topic is NOT a place to discuss the reason (or past similar events) why you use a black livery or not. Usually there is a different topic for that.
- DO NOT reply that you will not use a black livery
- DO NOT ask or suggest that we all should use a black livery. Using a black livery is a personal choice. Ppl not using a black livery does not mean they don't have respect.
- DO NOT pick on people who differ in opinion.

If after a little clean up your post is missing or has been edited, consider it as a 'friendly request' in relation to one or two DO NOT's mentioned above.

I don't know if this post will go through because it's the first post i have ever made but is an important one. I am a Member of Solders Racing and I, as well as my whole team will use black livery as a tribute to the ones who perished 10 years ago... the innocent citizens and especially our brave policemen, firefighters and soldiers... who sacrificed their lives to save the other's. Their courage and bravery will never be forgotten and will continue to inspire!!

Black livery for me tonight in memory of the four men that died in a coal mining accident down my neck of the woods.

EDIT: seems as though you can't change your livery after the qualifying deadline.
I'll keep the black livery on for Tuesday's race.

Indycar driver Dan Wheldon has been killed in a crash today at the Las Vegas 300 race.

He was truly an Indycar legend, picking up the crown of Champion in 2005, and winning the Indianapolis 500 this year as well as in 2005.

Please join me in wearing the black livery as a tribute to Dan, a brilliant driver that shouldn't have been taken from us :(

RIP

wearing black livery. it's horrible to see his twitter feed when he posted just a couple of hours ago, fully intending to be back after the race.
