This is a serious question.

Quote ( Gordon Ashford @ December 4th 2013,08:24:46 )

And is there a time limit on this? like speeding points?

Warnings should drop off after a certain period of time, or use a rolling period of time, say the last 2 years or whatever you deem necessary, that they are counted for. Penalising people for offences committed over such a long period of time is ridiculous, particularly when they will have served time already for some transgressions.

Quote ( Michael Winkley @ December 4th 2013,13:26:17 )

David, are you in any danger of a permaban? You've been here a while....

That could easily happen if I let loose with what I really thought!

Quote ( Jimmy De Roy @ December 4th 2013,13:45:44 )

It is not a threat it is another refusal to answer a simple question :

Absolutely right Jimmy

Quote ( Kevin Parkinson @ December 4th 2013,14:05:24 )

But if I can remind everyone...

Have a word with Gashford, he's the one that ignored your request and carried on using this thread for the discussion.

A sad day indeed for the game, loosing one of its long term committed players - good luck Mr K, we'll keep in touch via FB no doubt.

They are not currently removed. Some believe they should after a certain amount of time. But best to go to other thread than repeat stuff here and split the debate.

Keeney, don't leave because of the GPRO chat. It is full of missguided, self righteouse wannabies. I too have been there and asked that i be banned before i say any more simply because some people there "want" and "devote" theyre life to "troll". They want this mate, thay look for ways to cause shit.
I asked to be banned because after a ceertain amount of time im in there i started to react even to my friends, wich i thought was wrong and didnt want to further it. we are not all the same we are differant, some of us get pissed off and are able to say when we are.others like to think, and not say anything...gpro like to place a guidence on...not being able to tell the other theyre a moron.

Ask gpro to ban you its amazing, laughable. Play the game, enjoy life, knowing youre right ignore em.

He had a row on these forums with the moderators. Got a bit angry and was permabanned because of previous warnings.

I like Keeney, Im gutted he isnt on the forums anymore.

But he'd had enough after the ban so quit the game altogether. I personally think its a shame, also Luke Frost. But then Im all for freedom of speech.

It's been a very satisfying adventure here though be it all too short. Don't want to leave but there are things in life one can not control, this happens to be one of them thus my departure.

Enjoyed the company of all who I was fortunate to have met in this great international community. Best wishes to all and have a longer time here than I managed !

PS Support the game, you obviously enjoy it !

Sorry for that, but wasnt Voltaire to say that, but Ms Evelyn Hall, attributing the phrase to him in some essays she published in the early '900s. More over this statement is totally different from Voltaire's own philosofy which was based on tolerance as "ethic rule" (see his "Traité sur la tolérance") that cannot be explained by such a thought!
The concept to defend someones ideas (tolerance) crashes against the violence of definding it by the use of the force.
So no Voltaire quote, please, but at least "gunfight at the OK Corral", seeing your posts

Evelyn Beatrice Hall (1868 – 1956) Indeed Gino.

Quoted this phrase and like me,and many have held the quote dear. More so recorded by her brother in law? I think? who indeed elaborated this on his death bed? i wonder?

Either way it is a statement that holds, and if she or he didnt quote this, then someone else would have or indeed will :)

Well as I've told my team. I'm done
First race of the year, and what happens, a steering wheel had to be replaced on lap 11, that's no "Random" That is just bullshit.

Please some one let me know when there is a F1 management style game, just a little more realistic then I may be motivated to play again, But GPRO in my entire time here has changed barely at all, and its so called random are just rediculas, especially when I'm running bugger all risks, there is nothing. If a god damn driver pitted early asking for a steering wheel to be changed, he would be fired and never get a drive again in any form of race car. That's the first time I've had that random, and the last time this game will do me over because it feels like it.

It was addictive at first, but the lack of innovation will be the death of GPRO. Cya.

Dude, you hardly set the GPRO world on fire with most things remaining constant... maybe just as well there was no "innovation".

If a random in race 1 is that big a blow to your plans & elicits such an over the top reaction, then yeah, probably time for you to try a different game.

See ya.

there have been minor tweaks , but its a management game which rewards planning so you can't be making sweeping changes every 5 minutes :)
