Hello all.
Venodh here from Cape Town, South Africa.
Signed up today and still reading the guidelines.
Excited to be here.
welcome buddy. hope you find this place good. the game is awesum. you will not find answers to your questions in direct way from forums because the game is find out by yourself. don't be disheartened. there will be some generous managers along the way who can guide you. use your first season as a observation and data collecting season and try to join a team. if you have any doubts then PM me

Thank you for the kind words of wisdom.

Hey everyone, I'm Alexandre, someone who used to play this game a few years ago but abandoned it for reasons I can't remember. Now I've returned, and I'm excited to play this game again.

Welcome Alexandre, hope you'll have a good time in here. Keep reading around, gather as much info as you can and try to join a team.

Also a mentor could come in useful if you have questions about how it all works. You won't get all info on a serving plate, but they'll help you in the right direction! You can apply for a mentor here: /gb/forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=20521#scroll

Hello welcome back to gpro. You raced only two races so far. So try to read some stuff and join a team. It will be fun and you will grab some info which will be useful.

hello i have a problem with the tires when it rains
in particular happens to me if I forget that in the settings to start the machine with dry tires on a track where there will be rain stranemente the system will make me change tires only if runs out of gas or you consume the tires
In fact, for example in the last Grand Prix of the season mexico 53 8 I arrived very last race because I started with soft tires and the system has replaced only at around 34 !!!
why does this happen ?
I put in settings that if it rains the tires need to be changed immediately, but by two or three seasons it always happens this problem
you can verify this ?

Tyres are changed only when there is a weather change (depends on which type of tyre you have selected) or when you pit for fuel. (not sure about tyre change when pitting for a mechanical problem).

Check your "Race Set Up & Strategy" Page.
Make sure you have;
RAIN Tyres "At the Start" (If that is your desired preference)
RAIN Tyres "When it Rains"

That should solve your problems, that you have been having.
Very easy to forget, so ALWAYS Double Check this before each race, & don't forget to change back to Dry Tyres at the start, if the next race is Dry at the start :)

It won`t, if he`s on dry tyres when it rains, he will change tyres only when he pits for fuel.

Isn't that EXACTLY what I advised him to do !!!!!

I noticed that our lap times in qualifying laps were around 2:10 to 2:20
The record is 1:34!
How is there that much difference?
Any change in the game?

It's raining in qualifying.

And you probably used dry tyres instead of Rains.

No, we used rains. But does it make the gap 30s?

There's a number of factors that could drive the gap that far. One is tyres. Another is the car setup. And, last but not least, the ability of the driver to drive in the rain.

Moreover, the 1:34 time is the Elite record. Rookie qualifying record is 1:41.

13 races in and I'm having a blast. Slow learner but I'm getting there. Best game I've ever played. My advice to newbies is to join a team and engage the more experienced drivers for tips.

Hello everybody,

I am TJ, and joint the game a couple of weeks ago and restarted my team recently. I hope this forum will be useful to get to understand the little tweaks from the game.

My compliments to the founders and builders of this game. There has been thought on almost everything! I've never seen such a good manager game before!
I wish there was an offline version of the game, so I could speed it up a little...

Hope I will find my way around pretty soon!

Greetz,
TJ

Hello everyone. I used to play F1Rem untill things started to get weird ;-) Those days have long gone now. I always wondered what happened with some of the big players at that time and than I stumbled upon GPRO.
A lot more information to go through but I'm looking forward to score my first points next season (or teh one after that, or the one ....)
