Good Luck Alan. You've qualified well so you should have a good first race. I'm excited to see you on track!

Hello all,
I am Andy from the UK. A real life motorsports addict unable to do what I love most due to complicated lifetime illnesses. I can have some satisfaction in making progress on here instead :)

I am new(ish) here, having joined just in time for R15 of the last season. I just failed to introduce myself so far.

Loving it so far but finding it all a bit of a steep learning curve and so far my races and qualifying have been a bit hit and miss!

Hey there Andy, welcome aboard! 😀

Have you paid a look to Mentor Forum already? A mentor might be able to help you with the steep learning curve issue you mention

Thanks Flo
(I hope that is ok for me to call you that, as I see others do on the main forums)

I have looked at it and may take it up, if I can't progress but I am stubborn and like to see if I can succeed on my own first :)

The idea of a mentor is not being spoonfed, but to be oriented in the right direction, Andy. As you wish, though :)

Hi All,

New driver - 3 races down and I'm doing quite well so far (off the back of a talented driver, I believe).

Making mistakes. Learning lots. Collecting data.

As I'm already here, would you mind sending a profile pic with higher dimensions? I'm afraid that one is too small :O

Hi there all

Francois from South Africa here. I would see my self as a born again racing fan. For many years didn't watch any sports (stupid me), but for the last 2 to 3 years I have been into racing again.

Formula 1 - 33 Max Verstappen
Nascar - 18 Kyle Busch

I enjoy watching MotoGP, the Austalian Supercars, Indy, Rally etc. but I don't follow it as religiously as F1 and Nascar.

Thank you for a lovely game.

Hi,

Total noob here... so expect a lot of questions when I can't find the answers on a forum post...

Looking forward to racing... Once I figure out how to create a database for collecting data (any hints would be appreciated although I'm more likely to take down all info and work out myself what I actually need and find useful)

So I'll hopefully see you around the paddock...

We have a real name policy, so you'll notice most of us use our actual real names. You'll get used to it :)

Also check profile picture policies, you'll get a PM about those soon

Ages ago someone created a spider to collect some relevant data. It's still online but does not provide support anymore, though it might be a good start point if you are considering building something yourself:
