What happened at Old Trafford today showed once again that the referees are "holding" high-caliber players.

Foul by Ronaldo against Jones - yellow card. If the situation were opposite then the red card.

Was the referee's decision fair?

Leeds will go down if they keep playing like this, they are leaving huge gaps at the back, every time they lose the ball you fear for them, pressing as high as they do, I think even Norwich would enjoy playing them like this.

You simply can't play that high without either one high quality and disciplined DM, or two half decent ones. Right now they are leaving their two centre halves exposed every time they venture into the opponent's half. Suicidal football.

It's really weird to watch them play like they did against Arsenal and Man City after watching them play against Chelsea - solid at the back, defending in numbers. I thought they had learnt then about how to play against the big teams and were unlucky to lose to Chelsea by playing that "normal" system. But then suddenly they ignored everything they learnt from their game and went back to their usual naive football against the big teams. Really strange to see absolutely no learning ability from their team when they could get top 10 by having some level of adaptibility that I thought they had found after playing Chelsea, but apparently not.

Worst player on the pitch by a long way was Luke Ayling. Sure, he was being asked to play out of position at left centre back, but he kept vacating that position and drifting to the full back area. To make matters worse he was at fault for two of the goals, failing to see the threat from Saka out wide and basically was like moses parting the waves when he went for a 'wander' into centre midfield! If he gets more than 3 out of 10 for that performance I will be quite shocked!

I know Leeds have injury problems, but there's no excusing poor discipline and naivety. I'll be surprised if Bielsa isn't sacked before long, maybe even before Rafa Benitez. Benitez is the sort of manager they could do with actually!

My home team Minnesota United is playing Everton tonight.

3-0 Loons up in the first half. It's only pre-season. But sorry Everton, you look exactly the same as last season.

Just wonder if Rashford is back in his shape, if Lingard will do well in Nottingham, if Neto in Wolves is back in shape after injury, if Spurs will be equal to Liverpool and City, if Haaland will keep on scoring, if Newcastle will capitalize on its funds..lot of exitment in 2 weeks is coming :-)

With City losing to Villa, the race at the top of the table is getting really interesting.

Interesting results across Europe and also in EPL.

MU losing home 0-3. Luton vs. City came in betting terms from 1 to 2.

Arsenal lost game to Villa... but Villa looks good.

I don't know why ten Hag has not changed his midfield structure. Shame because I want to back him. Would really like to see Mainoo and Amrabat (Casemiro when back) together.

Things could be worse I suppose. I could be a Chelsea fan @Joe Manifold (M3)

Newcastle v Spurs should be a good game. The Spurs offside trap makes for a great watch

Yeah also Munich lost to Frankfurt 1:5 LOL

Things look ridiculous...

As of MU I think Keane is right.
They look satisfied with average.

Yep I agreed with everything he said the other week. 300k a week and can't be bothered to run up and down a football pitch. So frustrating

Of course, silly me. Once a blue always a blue, right (unless the reds start winning)

Kind of what you'd imagine- poor standards from players, several often late for training (he even went as far as naming Pogba & Sancho as the worst offenders)

Just read the latest headlines.

Basically thats all I read. The headlines.

So now after the Matic revelation Gary Neville to quote "Neville blasts Matic for committing ‘biggest betrayal in dressing room’ "

Yes or no?

United did well to get a draw at Anfield against Liverpool. This would give some relief to ten Hag who has been in real pressure to keep his job as the manager of Manchester United.
