I was serious, otherwise I wouldn't post. It would be the first time, so I will need information about your claims, so that I can choose the location wisely.

The typical GPRO meeting is as follows:

Quote ( Jonathan Beagles @ February 10th 2022,00:57:27 )

Thursday evening - arrive, settle into hotel
Friday day - sightseeing, drinking, chilling
Friday evening - bowling, drinking
Saturday day - karting
Saturday evening - drinking!
Sunday day - watch F1 race together and depart at some point afterwards...

At first sight. It means location in Brasov, in the mountain area or with accommodation in any nearby resort.

Brasov

At first glance, that place looks so beautiful!! If you are willing to host there, I am definitely voting for Romania :)

Apart from organizing, what else does the host have to do? When do you want to organize, in what period? The area is beautiful in winter or summer. In winter it is hard to believe that we are doing karting.
Anyway, we will discuss the details if you decide.
Try to find on google images of Sinaia, Busteni, Peles... to get an idea.

The host's responsibility is:

- To ensure that all activites are booked and itineraries are completed for smoothness of meeting.
- To pre-pay for any and all bookings that may require this (you can then request payment from all participating members).
- To suggest hotels and transport at the given location.
- To guide the group through the activities when arriving at the location.
- To have fun!

That's about it :)

Although we are looking at a certain @Tomek Kiełpiński (A80) to host a Polish one :P

I think I know this guy. Should I ask him? ;-)

But to be honest, the only meeting he hosted, sucked. Instead of drinking and watching Euro2012 he forced people to play Bubble Football :-P

You'd better look for @Marcin Żak (A49) instead :-)

Romania would be really cool @Liviu Sandu (R48), also Finland too @Jukka Sireni (R145)...

What does @Stefan Voggenreither (R3) reckon? :)

I would love a meeting in Romania.

if someone twisted my arm I could host one in Estonia, but I would rather do Finland.

As much as I would love to go to Estonia, this was already done and I would prefer a place we have never been to (even though I didn't attend the 2012 one!)
