Quote ( Rafael Mantovani @ May 27th 2012,21:02:00 ) a polemic debate...
You think so? I just don't think it to be right and feel sorry for Dragu who would have won, or for Andrei who would have probably got a podium and for some others who may would have got points (I didn't check more than that).

yes it is... it's not unfair or against the rules, they were working together to achieve their goal, and they succeeded... I was one of the guys held up behind them, could have finished higher... The only thing I really disagree here, mate, is the tyre consumption... Inters and Rains can never wear less than a dry compound, like it has happened lately... Stef should never finish there, but it's an issue Lukas has promised me to look into more carefully, just like he did with all the new formulas you asked him to change (and I didnt know it, that's why I got confused in most of the races - e.g. race 8, where I missed a win by one lap).

LOL
Well, there is no point for me to discuss this any further anyway as I made my point clear and I leave the game anyway.
Sorry Lukas as it's a great game and the only silly game I've played for so long on here.
Edit: How could Lukas set a rule which is impossible for him to check if no one is breaking this rule? And for me this was certainly against the spirit of the game as it's giving those who are doing it a huge advantage and this can't be fair.
Right, the attitude of some people here just showed my decision to quit the game for now to be right.
Good luck Lukas and to all who play the game fair.

I believe you have made your point clear enough... there's not even a doubt, mate. All I know is that you're a good player here - I was a few seasons away (I mean, most of them, lol), but it'd be a pleasure to fight with a true champ! ;)

You'll fight with a couple of true champs next season and I'm not a champ anyway ;)

I see in this silly game there are some big arguments :D I like it so I ##join for the next season :)

Quote ( Josh Anderson @ May 28th 2012,07:50:16 ) When will the next season be up? We are still waiting for this season last race analysis.
I think that the first race will be on 15th of June if Lukas won't make a break.

Quote ( Josh Anderson @ May 28th 2012,07:50:16 ) When will the next season be up? I'm really looking forward to it. I need to send the analysis first, also do some other stuff here. Quote ( Mairo Toom @ May 28th 2012,09:10:18 ) I think that the first race will be on 15th of June if Lukas won't make a break. 8th or 15th. Won't make a break as I wouldn't be able to finish it in summer. Can't step into this debate as it's my game and I have to be neutral :P

Btw I have an observation - F-1 Monaco GP looked suspiciously like GPRO Strategist. :O

Joined with a little bang in top 10, but that was his only top 10 finish and two missed races indicate that there might be more.
Yug Desai
Ranking: 44 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 27th Best Team position: 16th Races: 2 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 0
Only raced in two races, but only just missed points with a really good strategy. Whether it was luck or skill, we'll see in the future.
Teoh Hao Yang
Ranking: 43 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 26th Best Team position: 17th Races: 5 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 0
His debut race was just a whisker away from points, but he missed three out of 7 following races and decided to retire.
Jonathan Beagles
Ranking: 42 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 24th Best Team position: 13th Races: 8 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 2
Although his first 5 races weren't wonderful, his obvious skill allowed him to end the season on a high note. Average position of last three races was under 10, so the points were almost inevitable.
Davi Jardim Tellini
Ranking: 41 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 22th Best Team position: 6th Races: 10 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 6 Best team cup achievement: Reached Semifinal.
Another rookie in season 6, Davi managed to score 5 points in race 4 which helped his team reach semifinal and added one more in race 10. Unlike his teammate, he didn't miss a single race and will obviously be looking for a strong teammate next season.

Andi Ndrecka
Ranking: 40 (-6) Best Seasonal position: 20th Best Team position: 9th Races: 12 Wins: 0 Podiums: 3 Points: 45
Raced in season 1. Promoted out of pro midway through season 1 and was constant in master. Came back in season 5 to race in two more races, where his best finish was 15th.
Platon Krasin
Ranking: 39 (-6) Best Seasonal position: 19th Best Team position: 10th Races: 14 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 2
Debut race was in S5 R7 where he finished 17th, raced in three more races, but he couldn't score any points, with the closest being 9th place in R10. Joined forces with his brother in season 6, but couldn't score until Miroslav retired.
Cristian Morales
Ranking: 38 (-6) Best Seasonal position: 19th Best Team position: 10th Races: 8 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 2 Best Cup performance: Dropped in round 1
Was pretty successful in beta season, but didn't continue playing until start of season 3 where he was only a shadow of himself. Only achievement was qualifying for cup in 16th place.
Subhasish De
Ranking: 37 (-6) Best Seasonal position: 18th Best Team position: 9th Races: 10 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 1 Best Cup performance: Dropped in round 1 Best Team Cup performance: Dropped in round 1
Joined the game in S3 and qualified for the cup after two races. After R3 was leading his round, but then the season went downhill. No more points and best position after that was 10th in the very last race. Season 4 was even worse as he was the only one without a single point.
Wopke Hoekstra
Ranking: 36 (-6) Best Seasonal position: 18th Best Team position: 8th Races: 23 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 10 Best Cup performance: Dropped in 1st round Best Team Cup performance: Dropped in 1st round
Raced in Beta, but decided to quit. Rejoined in S3 and took one point in the season. Didn't qualify for cup. Came back again for 4 races in season 5 where he scored two more points. Improved dramatically in season 6 with 7 points, no missed races and a high potential to score more.
Pedro Diogo
Ranking: 35 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 17th Best Team position: 4th Races: 10 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 8
Joined in season 6, but scored only 3 points in first nine races. However, his 4th place in last race allowed his team to climb to 4th and gave himself a decent 17th place out of 34 people that have end the season.
Jake Wilson
Ranking: 34 (-6) Best Seasonal position: 15 Races: 10 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 3 Best Team position: 10 Best Cup performance: - Best Team Cup performance: -
Was the only new player in season 4 and was last many times. Finished in top 10 at race six but had no points after 8 races. However he used other's mistakes in race 9 where he came 6th and that was enough to beat his way more experienced teammate. Raced in the start of S5, but retired when the car didn't meet his expectations.
Andrei Ciuchi
Ranking: 33 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 15th Best Team position: 10th Races: 6 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 10 Best team cup performance: Reached Semifinal
Joined midway through season 6 and scored three times in his 4 first races which had granted him the rookie of the year award. Coupled with a seasoned veteran in Coloni , he is one of the real candidates at high spots in season 7.
Stuart Foster
Ranking: 32 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 14th Best Team position: 8th Races: 8 Wins: 0 Podiums: 1 Points: 12
One of SIXTEEN new drivers in season 6, he was amongst the top 5 with a HWM splitting podium (a difficult feat to achieve, knowing their form this season) at race 8 and a 5th place two races before. However none of his other finishes were above top 14, so his real potential is a mystery.
Makis Katsoulas
Ranking: 31 (-4) Best Seasonal position: 13 Races: 8 Wins: 0 Podiums: 1 Points: 9 Best Team position: 6 Best Cup performance: -
Joined at the start of S3 , but wasn't too fast in the first half of the season. Podium in R6 wasn't enough to keep him interested and he has headed for other racing class.

Ranking: 30 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 13th Best Team position: 3rd Races: 9 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 13 Best cup performance: Dropped in 1st round Best team cup performance: Dropped in 1st round
A very good debut race in 5th, four point finishes and a 3rd place in team standings really shows that he is one of the better rookies, but the fact that he wasn't able to beat his debut race finish raises some questions.
Aaron Littlewood
Ranking: 29 (-3) Best Seasonal position: 13th Best Team position: 4th Races: 20 Wins: 0 Podiums: 1 Points: 24 Best Cup performance: Reached QF Best Team Cup performance: Reached Semifinal
Raced in beta season, but left the game for good until season 4, where he came back and teamed up with Subhasish De. He was faster than his teammate in all races they both raced except for Race 5. Managed to get 4th in race 6 and a single point in the last race he raced. Teamed up with more experienced Davi Freitas in Ferrari where he was beaten quite badly. Scored his first podium in race 2. Despite scoring two times in first three races of season 6, he missed 5 out of last seven and may be heading towards retirement.
Gary Harding
Ranking: 28 (-3) Best Seasonal position: 12th Best Team position: 2nd Races: 29 Wins: 1 Podiums: 2 Points: 22 Best Cup performance: Reached Semifinal Best Team Cup performance: Reached Semifinal
Joined at the start of season three and reached cup semifinal, also woke up Lotus with their first podium of the season at Race 8 and after it Lotus took two wins in two races. Season 4 was disastrous for him. Only one race in the points and pre-last position in the season standings, while his teammate shown that the car wasn't that bad. Season 5 was also going downhill but he managed to win race 8 which motivated him enough to score once more in R10. Raced for the bigger part of season 6, but eventually decided to call it quits.
Alexey Petrov
Ranking: 27 (-3) Best Seasonal position: 11th Best Team position: 9th Races: 8 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Points: 10 Best Cup performance: Reached Semifinal
Joined in season 3 in the out of form Renault, which couldn't score a single podium in the season. Despite the lack of speed, managed to get to the semifinal in the cup which is really impressive.
Martynas Brazenas
Ranking: 26 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 11th Best Team position: 7th Races: 8 Wins: 0 Podiums: 2 Points: 14 Best Cup performance: Reached Quarter-final Best Team Cup performance: Dropped in 1st round.
Another season 6 debutant, Martynas actually was the best of them in the start of the season. 2 podiums and 14 points really promised much after three races, but he couldn't even get higher than 19th in the rest of the season.
Jed Kingsley
Ranking: 25 (-2) Best Seasonal position: 10th Best Team position: 7th Races: 8 Wins: 0 Podiums: 1 Points: 12 Best Cup performance: Dropped in Round 1
A really impressive start (2nd in debut race), and not so impressive season leading to two missed races which probably was the needed kick in the balls, cause he came back and finished the season in Top 10.
Ned Neil
Ranking: 24 (NEW) Best Seasonal position: 10th Best Team position: 9th Races: 10 Wins: 1 Podiums: 1 Points: 15 Best Cup performance: Dropped in 1st round
Standings shows - he was the best of the season 6 new drivers. However standings may lie, his car was set-up by his teammate for a half of the season and he only landed points two times.
Richard Luijendijk
Ranking: 23 (-1) Best Seasonal position: 9th Best Team position: 6th Races: 20 Wins: 0 Podiums: 2 Points: 34 Best Cup performance: Reached Semifinal Best Team Cup performance: Dropped in Round 1
Debuting in S5, Richard managed to score 18 points, one podium and a top 10 finish in the season standings which shows his potential for future seasons. Season 6 revealed his strenght further, four point finishes with almost all the non-point finishes were dedicated to research or helping others.
Jun Ho
Ranking: 22 (-1) Best Seasonal position: 9th Best Team position: 11th Races: 20 Wins: 1 Podiums: 3 Points: 45
One of a few drivers that have been in the series since the start of it, but never been really successful. In fact he managed to finish last in every single season if we don't count BETA. The streak has end in season 4 however where he retired.
Joseph Wood
Ranking: 21 (-1) Best Seasonal position: 9th Best Team position: 7th Races: 27 Wins: 1 Podiums: 6 Points: 69 Best Cup performance: Reached Semifinal
Raced in Beta and season 1 where he took 3rd in master. Didn't race in season two, but rejoined for two races in the second half of season 3 where he scored two points. Made another break in S4, but came back for almost a full season in S5 where he finished 9th and went on to semifinal of cup competition. Season 6 was a disaster. An award for most underachieving driver pretty much sums it all.

I dont understand why people take this game so seriously.
When Dragu won his title I chose not to try and block Davi as I saw it as very low and unethical. It seems others are quite happy to do this just for, in this case, 2nd place in the season standings.
Quote ( Christoph Seifriedsberger @ May 27th 2012,17:56:41 ) there are also enough others who either share data or what's their strategy next race (WHO ARE NOT TEAM MATES) which is also an unfair advantage.
This is rather dissapointing to here...
I would be interested to hear who is doing this and would question if any titles have been won while data sharing between teams.
Quote ( Ivelin Dobrev @ May 27th 2012,20:09:04 ) My first reaction was to apologize about all that, but now, I don't care anymore. You said that it's just a silly game
It is just a silly game, so why go such great lengths just to get second place in the seasons standings? Would getting 3rd instead be the end of the world?

Joined in 2nd race of S3 and easily outperformed his teammate in first half of the season, but couldn't score a single point since R5. Had some real life problems in season 4 due to what only managed 5 races, but was able to score a podium in one of them.
Mairo Toom
Ranking: 19 (-1) Best Seasonal position: 7th Best Team position: 2nd Races: 40 Wins: 1 Podiums: 4 Points: 56 Best Cup performance: Champion Best Team Cup performance: 2 x Champions
Joined at the start of season three and reached cup quarterfinals, but it was pretty disappointing season for him with only 7 points in pretty fast Benetton. Season 4 was better as he won race 2 and team cup with Benetton. However that race win was his only podium finish. Finally found some consistency in season 5 which was proven by 3 podium finishes, a cup win and he even managed to beat the most successful driver, his teammate. However that didn't give him enough to rise in rank and his teammate is rumored to leave the team. Season 6 was a total disaster for him. Only 3 points and 23rd place in standings asks a question why he wasn't nominated for the underachiever of the season award?
Simon Forth
Ranking: 18 (-1) Best Seasonal position: 7th Best Team position: 11th Races: 25 Wins: 0 Podiums: 5 Points: 82 Best Cup performance: Reached Quarterfinal
Joined in beta season and was here ever since, which puts him in top 5 of all time scorers. Sadly a serious crash in race 7 of season 3 takes him out indefinetly.

A downright impressive debut race and a win there, also took a podium in a race where Toleman occupied most of the podium, but those two missed races might have cost team 2nd in the championship. Missed half of season 4 and scored only 9 points in those five races.
Abijeet Khanna
Ranking: 16 (-1) Best Seasonal position: 5th Best Team position: 6th Races: 40 Wins: 0 Podiums: 4 Points: 93 Best Cup performance: Reached Quarterfinal Best Team Cup perfromance: Reached Semifinal
Joined in beta season, qualified for Elite and took 5th there. Took one season break in S2 and came back in S3 where he carried Red Bulls on his own shoulders. Was left alone in Red Bull in season 4 of which he have missed considerable amount of races. Had a good point scoring streak in R6-8 but that was probably the only good achievement for him. Missed 3 out of 4 first races of S5, but completed the other 6 where he even managed to score a podium. Season 6 was a decent one for him, even though he missed 2 races. He had scored 8th place in the standings and really improved his cup performances. Despite his many races and three podiums, he has never won a race.
Geir Pukk
Ranking: 15 (-1) Best Seasonal position: 5th Best Team position: 5th Races: 31 Wins: 0 Podiums: 6 Points: 84 Best Cup performance: Reached QF Best Team Cup perfromance: Reached Final
Raced since beta, qualified for master there, and was in the middle of it in season 1. Season 2 was pretty good for him, middle of 9 managers and 28 points including two second places. Came back again in S4 and shown that he is quite a constant podium finisher, but he really lacks consistency. Were really close to scoring team cup, but close doesn't count. Anounced his retirement at the end of S5 which was probably worst for him, where he only managed to score 2 points. Even though he still raced for a while in season 6, he eventually did retire.
Dominik Karda
Ranking: 14 (-1) Best Seasonal position: 5th Best Team position: 7th Races: 59 Wins: 2 Podiums: 4 Points: 100 Best Cup performance: Dropped in Round 1 Best Team Cup performance: Dropped in Round 1
Joined in season 1 and have missed only a single race since. Career peak was race 4 of season 2 where he won with 0 litres of fuel after race after allegedly guessing the strategy. Career low has come in season 4 where he was unable to score in 8 straight races. Three points in last two races weren't even enough to outscore his newbie teammate. Won another race in S5 which was unexpected. Scored 16 points in that season and was really close to that 100th point, which only 6 people have achieved. Eventually climbed over the 100 point barrier and was 7th person to ever do that. still leads the statistics on most races, but missed a single one and ruined his clean status.
Arald Sopoti
Ranking: 13 (+16) Best Seasonal position: 4th Best Team position: 4th Races: 18 Wins: 2 Podiums: 2 Points: 31
Raced in season 3, but decided not to end the season back then so no stats were counted for him from those times. Came back for almost full season in S5 and scored points once. Was a real surprise in season 6 (he also scored the surprise of the season award) with two wins (only equalled by both HWM's) and 4th place in the standings. Can be a title contender next season provided he finds a good team.
Stephen Munro
Ranking: 12 (=) Best Seasonal position: 4th Races: 8 Wins: 1 Podiums: 4 Points: 43
Joined in beta season and went straight to Elite where he took one win and 4th position out of 6 in final standings. Never raced again.
Chris Anello
Ranking: 11 (=) Best Seasonal position: 4th Best Team position: Races: 31 Wins: 5 Podiums: 5 Points: 77 Best Cup performance: Reached QF Best Team Cup performance: Reached Final
Joined in the second half of season 3 with stunning debut in 4th place. Couldn't score any more in other 4 races of the season. Teamed up with Stefan Gommans in season 4 which has given the Italian a real boost in speed. Two wins and a team championship title was probably more than he expected himself. Scored 3 wins in season 5 which was three times more than anyone else, but scored only 5 more points in other 7 races. He has an interesting achievement - More than 70% of his points were scored in wins and he has never managed another podium place than the top one. Decided to retire at season 6, but couldn't stay away even for a month. Came back, but didn't score enough points to even beat his newbie teammate.

Joined in beta season, but had no luck then and only qualified for master. Dominated there however and went to elite mid-season where he fought for the title till race 9. Was too disappointed to continue his career. Rumors were that he is to return to the series, but it was only that - a rumor until season 6, when he actually returned. And he returned in style. A top 5 finish, final in cup competition and 3rd place with his team. Due to his heated argument with the founder of the series about the tires, some changes are rumored to be made.
Davi Freitas
Ranking: 9 (=) Best Seasonal position: 2nd Best Team position: 2nd Races: 40 Wins: 2 Podiums: 8 Points: 106 Best Cup performance: Reached Final Best Team Cup performance: Reached Semifinal
Unlike the other Toleman (S3), had a horrendous first half of the season and no points after R5, but win in race 6 put him back on his feet and he ended up just in front of his teammate. Season 4 was totally inside out version of season 3 for him as he lacked speed which he had in S3, but was constant unlike the season before. Also first half of the season was way better than second which was exactly not the case in S3. Led almost full season in S5, but lost it in the very last race to Dragusanu Viktor . It was unlucky, but it also showed that he can be a title contender in the future. Had a decent title shout in the first half of season 6, but was heavily outscored by Stefan Gommans in the second part.
Daniel Bassett
Ranking: 8 (=) Best Seasonal position: 2nd Wins: 3 Podiums: 11 Points: 122
A real phenomena, 10 year old kid in mathematical game and still in top 10 all time drivers, was really close to the title in S1, but lost to a manager that was on fire back then. Took 3rd in season 2 and retired. Had almost returned in season 6, but didn't find a place in a decent team which scared him off.
Christoph Seifriedsberger
Ranking: 7 (=) Best Seasonal position: 2nd Best Team position: Races: 35 Wins: 5 Podiums: 15 Points: 176 Best Cup performance: Champion Best Team Cup performance: Reached Semifinal
Joined in Season 2 and won the rookie of the year award (since he was the only rookie then), but was hiding his pace till season 3 where he fought for the title till the very end, but lost it to his own teammate. Went through to the final of the cup and smothered his opponent there. Season 4 went downhill for his team, but he was still fighting for the title with two races to go when the team forgot rain tyres for a wet weather race. Can only kick himself for missing another title opportunity in S5 where he missed two vital races. He can only wonder 'what if?' now. Won first race of season 6, but only managed 6th in the standings and decided to retire after controversial race 10.
Simon Lyus
Ranking: 6 (=) Best Seasonal position: 2 Best Team position: Wins: 7 Podiums: 15 Points: 228 Best Cup performance: Reached Quarterfinal Best Team Cup performance: Reached Semifinal
Most successful manager without a cup next to his name and one of two people with over 200 points. Was really unlucky to lose it in season two. Teamed up with Dragusanu Viktor in season 5 and won the team cup, but the individual cup is still evading him. Beat his teammate in season 6, but due to lack of car's pace he wasn't close to fight for the top spot.

Joined in Race 8 of season 3 and is the second freshest manager of all. Managed to score two points in last race of the season three. Teamed up with Geir Pukk in season 4 and managed to beat the more experienced Estonian by 1 point. Were really close to scoring team cup, but close doesn't count. Teamed up with experienced Simon Lyus and did something no one expected - won both individual and team cup. However the fact that he won with only 44 points shows that the luck was on his side. A bad season 6 led to a nomination for the underachiever of the season, but he did double his wins tally.

Ranking: 4 (=) Best Seasonal position: Best Team position: Wins: 4 Podiums: 9 Points: 101 Best Cup performance: Reached Semifinal Best Team Cup performance: Reached Semifinal
A real surprise in Season 3, took the title from the arms of his teammate in his debut season. Was his own shadow in season 4 where he made mistake after mistake. Season 5 was even worse. Only 7 points of which 6 were scored in race 1. Split up with his teammate in season 6 and had to drive alone for a few races until he found a new teammate. After that he started to show some signs of strength.

Joined in the middle of Season 1 and totally destroyed pro group. Took his title on the most impressive 0-stopper by only one point. Won half the races he's been in and held the record for most races won till last race of season 6 when it was beaten by Ivelin Dobrev .
Ivelin Dobrev

Most successful manager ever.... WAS. Until season 6 kicked in and he was beaten by his teammate. Was two heads above anyone in beta season, took title in season 1, but took some break from success in season 2. Came back in season 3 to hunt the championship, but was denied by Colonis. If his pit crew had done their job at least half a second faster in the last race of season 4, he would be a twice-champion now. Season 5 was horrible as it was the first one he's been outraced by his teammate. Despite winning two team cups with Benetton he's left them for HWM with which he had won a team .
Stefan Gommans
Ranking: 1 (+2) Best Seasonal position: Races: 40 Wins: 5 Podiums: 18 Points: 191 Best Team position: Best Cup performance: 2xChampion Best Team Cup performance: Champion
Was outperformed by his teammate in the start of the season 3, but when his teammate decided to retire and whole team concentrated to his car alone, he repayed them with 4 point finishes in a row and 4th place in the standings for his team. Season 4 was outstanding for him as he took a hattrick (Season win, Cup win, best time in OBR) and a team title with Chris Anello. Currently the only one to have a and a Cup win in his collection. Was close to second trophy in season 5, but first two races really kicked him in the balls cause they were the only one he didn't score points in. Totally dominated season 6 and he's the first person to score a second to his name. If that wasn't enough, he won the season standings, team standings, both cups and One Big Race ranking as well as being picked as the manager of the season.

Quote ( Rafael Mantovani @ May 28th 2012,15:15:44 ) Team with no name won S1 iirc? Yes, but that was a different competition where teams had consisted of 4 managers and they were from different groups. The current one is counted from season 3.

Lukas, I hope you'll at least consider my last suggestions for this game.

Dont you agree that the rule was the same for everyone racing back then? We had our merit... Or winning teams in F1 during the 50's ( where they had more than two cars in the same team) are worthless? :)
I dont want to go back to my stolen victories fm S1 in Master... lol
Edit: I love thumbs down, keep'em coming!

Quote ( Rafael Mantovani @ May 28th 2012,15:26:37 ) Dont you agree that the rule was the same for everyone racing back then? We had our merit... Indeed, but look from the other angle: It was way easier to win team cup back then as teams consisted of 4 players each (meaning that there were two times less teams and having four active people already gave a good opportunity win it). Besides I don't want to combine results from two completely different competitions. You (iirc with Daniel, Michal and Shoaib) won team cup back then and I am not taking it away, I am just not writing it in the same category.
