Why unreasonable? I want to plan my championship. What season it will be, S78 or 79? But I don't see a calendar, I can't plan it. My current driver will be 34 y.o., his salary will be 6M. If I will be able to win a championship a season earlier, I save a lot of money.

Stefan is a very busy man, and I sent a pm offering my services last month to help him :)

Maybe that is why he has sorted the calendar for the next season so quickly !

If you are after a championship....you can always pop back to Rookie, That is where I might be heading :)

I'd like to raise a question/suggestion I have with qualifying risks. Someone in our team says he nearly always uses "push a lot" in both qualifying sessions and nearly always beats his pracice times with it. He is in rookie. As someone who tends to err on the side of caution, the idea of using push a lot with my rookie driver seemed like suicide - even in Master I think twice about it!

So my question - without wanting to give too much away - is whether my teammate has been exceptionally lucky. And if the answer isn't a resounding 'yes', then my suggestion is that taking bigger risks in lower levels of the game shouldn't be rewarded so frequently.

I realise there are several things to consider before plumping for a Q risk setting, but I'm talking about consistent use, not a couple of times a season. I'd have thought a rookie driver using 'push a lot' might gain time 20% of attempts but lose huge amounts of time those 80% of times it doesn't work.

Perhaps that is the way it works and some people are just lucky, but thought I'd raise it just in case.

Changing the manager team history page so that we can have more readable info of the team, period and a new addition of number of races, missed races, and average team points during that team visit. Maybe also include periods of no team.

I'm not sure what you mean Alex. When you copy from the URL bar, language reference is there, and you need to manually remove it after pasting.

Je ne suis pas sûr de ce que tu veux dire Alex. Lorsque vous copiez à partir de la barre d’URL, la référence de langue est présente et vous devez la supprimer manuellement après le collage.

It's done, thx Florencia

yes, part of url (...gpro.net) is filtering on the server side, we does not see it. But I believe it's better to remove a language reference by default.

For example
Now:
I copied the link /gb/gpro.asp.
I see something like:
<a href="http://gpro.net/gb/gpro.asp"... >/gb/gpro.asp</a>

But isn't it better if it was so:
<a href="http://gpro.net/gpro.asp"...>/gpro.asp</a>

A lot of people even don't know what is it and how to use it.
Or maybe it's better to keep it as it is but add a little icon with a link without a language reference.

<a href="http://gpro.net/gb/gpro.asp"...>/gb/gpro.asp</a>
<a href="http://gpro.net/gpro.asp"...><img src="..." alt="open with your language".../></a>

We’ve ran into similar issues with shared links on multi-language sites at work, and did something similar to what Alexei suggested: instead of adding routing for url paths without a language indicator, we’ve designated a non-existing language code to it, that would indicate the server to redirect to the language set by the user clicking the link

I do like the idea a lot :D, not sure how easy or hard to implement it can be or if it may have any negative consequences. For instance, I sometimes link the rules in Spanish and want that link to actually open in Spanish... though it should not be a problem really, most of the times the manager reading and clicking the link actually has GPRO set in Spanish anyway :D. But out from that there might be other things that I'm not seeing.

Not sure if that will help about the conversation, but a link in this form -> /gpro.asp will redirect automatically to the default language selected by the user. In my case, if I click the link above, it'll redirect to the french page.

Sorry, I have been busy and really lazy lately.

I mostly agree that intentional relegation from promo spots should be punished somehow. Of course, some may end up relegating by a combination of unluck and management mistakes, and some may end up to promo spots because no one wants them, but doing it for fun or for sponsor building is not that desirable in my opinion.

Anyway, I don't think taking away the max 18/24 million away from the relegators will do any good. Nowadays, if you want to finish negative after race money from one or two races, and P1 bonus, you need some serious money wasting. Especially when going from Pro to Ama, that money is not so well spent. Full facilities or level 7/8 car is not that much needed in Ama. So taking it away wouldn't stop them.

Taking it away only when you are so deep in negative that it won't take you to positive would hurt a bit more, as the relegator would need to sell some stuff to get to 0. But as said, in Pro to Ama, that stuff isn't so much needed anyway. Also if the money was passed to the next player in this case, it could create some unwanted cash flow. So if even due to this penalty one in the top 3 would go to negative and the 4th decided that he is not ready to go up either, he could be screwed up if someone else in the top 3 also decided to relegate.

So, any harsher ideas?

I think this is a really hard thing to get the balance right on. Any harsher punishments brought in to stop or punish finishing in the top 3 or 4 and relegating will ultimately mean some genuinely unlucky managers fall foul of it too. There will be fallout no matter what.

How do you move the goalposts slightly?

What you want to stop is one manager ruining the whole season for a group. I think in Pro a relatively easy and fair fix for this is blocking off the top tier of tyres. It is far to easy to simply pick Michis and trash a pro group. That simply doesn't need to be in the game.

I feel the level this is the biggest issue at is at Pro level. I think this one easy step would go a long way to fixing negative relegating in Pro because the premium tyres make it far too easy to do.
