Parts can always fail William (as I'm sure you're aware of). High wear just means the chance of a failure increases. Tough luck nonetheless.

Possibly, fuel was 115 litres for 28 laps, so that had some impact...

Fuel was the same for all on the 1-stop though, Stuart. I started with over 120l.

You're in a position where you don’t need podiums though, so that should help you to save some cash here and there. :)

Looking at the race summary, Claudio was 33rd in all of AMA, but only 4th in this group!! So, so competitive; great work guys!!

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what's going on. Tracks where I thought I had good matches, I'm drifting towards the bottom end of 100 quickest, but now I'm back up to where I was at the start of the season

From the information which is readily available, it doesn't appear as though you have a mega-good match this race; which makes the pace even more surprising!

Must be all about your driver. :)

True, I had many better matches through the earlier part of the season, my driver has continue to improve alongside training and testing (testing wear of course reduces the quality of parts) but this has been the case of almost all races apart maybe Race 1 & 2.
