Those numbers are nice, Stuart. How far do you think you can take him? Is he good enough to get out of PRO? I'm holding a fair bit of excess in the talent column, but that should play into my hands further up the ladder (hopefully).

@Mariusz Palak (A66); you're looking good at the moment (despite being in 6th) - 20th additional promo spot, and I'm sure you'll rise from there.

I am hoping that he will be good enough to get all the way to Elite, though I accept that talent under 200 could hamper those chances. But, a lower talent might allow my other attributes to be better than the competition. I only have 2 seasons planned for Pro. Retain then promote, so I need to fine tune a couple of areas, I can't make the little mistakes I've made this season

That's a lot of testing Stuart, I seen last season this was going to be a little more rough on the Engine than I would like so using the test sessions sparingly to maintain testing CPP. Our drivers are at very similar points, I have 179 conc, 161 tal, 115 exp and 153 stam in comparison to you now. I also have until race 5 next season so looking solid. However I'll probably plan for 3 seasons in Pro, pushing the 3rd season for Master.

I agree, Mariusz, you should be ok if you keep going the way you are. It can be difficult but there will be races where those ahead have poor races and you'll be able to jump them and gain extra points.

That was my guess at your expectation, and also my view on the possibility of getting there. :)

It's a tough balancing act, for sure. I'm hoping that the extra talent, whilst effectively sandbagging me now, will come into it's own upon arrival in Elite! But it's going to be hell of a journey to get there!

I'd love to promote to the same division as you and/or William; would add an extra dimension to it. :)

Finally, in the interest of fairness, my Conc/Tal/Exp/Sta values are 166/243/111/126. So I'm 20 light Conc and 30 light Sta in comparison to you guys at the moment.

Well, I can't believe that happened. Underfuelling is a Rookie mistake. I can't do that again.

With the set up tools we use, I can hold my hands up and acknowledge this was my error by not changing the track. I fuelled for Kyalami, not Melbourne. I am still kicking myself over the error and hope to rectify this by winning at Yas Marina, but Palak has put in a good time and Pickering is yet to qualify, so a win might not be possible.

I really do have to commend the competitiveness of the group. I'm making small mistakes myself, but luckily none punished me like under fuelling, I caught my mistake during practice. It's a shame too because I think you were looking strong. I noticed you had early on which was good for me :P

The higher talent will pay off later for sure Mark. We are all in similar places, obviously right now we are a little quicker because we have the more desirable skills at this point but come Pro and even master you'll be in a better position. I'll likely change my driver at some point. But being in the same group would add a very nice extra dimension to things.

Good luck tonight guys, I've downgraded a fair bit so i'll be happy around that podium spot and just maintain consistency with low risks... 20 is low right? :P

That FT advantage was immense and has thrown up an extra competitor fear. Lol. I'm only 18 points clear of 5th, so I can't even consider taking it easy yet. The drop of points from Mark and William was certainly helpful.

Love the fact that there are so many strategy choices to make tonight!! There are at least 4 different strategies which are viable, and so many things to consider.

Will be a cracker of a race, and I think we'll still be wondering about the result until the very end.

Good luck everyone.

You've put in a great qualifying there, William.

Who's going to be on the whiting? Will anyone else score points - after 2 races, 10 managers had scored points; after 9 races, it's still 10!!

Anyone care to guess who's on what tyres? The only one's I categorically ruled out were the mediums. :)

Eek, I'm running mediums, I'm hoping the rain isn't too long and I can run a quick 2 stop strategy. William sure is quick again

Was hoping for a few extra wet laps; but another solid points position.

I find it astonishing that P11 in our group still hasn’t scored a point!! Shows how competitive this season is!!

Unlucky timing with the technical problem, William; one more lap and you'd have been home and dry!

I'm happy to benefit, however!! :)

Yea, that a terrible time. Lost 2 places on the final lap but that's ok. Thought I would have been ok, wear wasn't too high but maybe our tool for calculation is a little out... Nice win regardless. Stuart, I'm surprised at how slow you were, maybe just a bad track for your driver and car?

Possibly, fuel was 115 litres for 28 laps, so that had some impact...
