It looks like Buemi has been disqualified from the race :o not even for his behaviour or unsafe release, but because his 2nd car was underweight xD

Di Grassi has all but won the championship now

This has not been Buemi's season at all 😂

That disqualification reminds me a small bit of Hunt's disqualification for having his tires too wide back in the 70's

Then again, he had won 6 of the first 8 races :P How he hasn't won it from that noone knows
Only really has himself to blame in Mexico City and here, as if he didnt crash in P2 he'd have had a fine car

Must be something in the Swiss-Franc genes as both Buemi & Grosjean bitch & whine all the time. It's always everyone else's fault & never theirs.

He was contractually bound to his wec race so was forced to skip

Seemed like a racing incident to me.

Maybe BMW should have settled for 1-2 but da Costa locked up so bad that he put it into the wall - that's on him

Yeah I would say it was more Da Costa's fault. Risky move from Sims but Da Costa's lockup was what sent them into each other.

It's so obvious that it's no use discussing it...

A lot of teams seriously miscalculated their energy... Especially Nissan

Though i think they crossed the line with 2 seconds left so they might have been caught out

But yeah, that was crazy. Every race this season has been bloody brilliant, 4 different winners in 4 different teams, when was the last time 4 different teams won a race in F1 in a season, 2013?

I think FE is firmly cementing itself as the best racing series. Action none stop, and you just can't stop watching, unlike F1, which is just boring at the moment. Don't think this season there has been a boring race, its been action action action

This season has been particularly excellent. Attack mode is better however there could still be some improvements, mainly with the general coverage of the events as well as organisation of the races.

My biggest problem with it is Fan Boost. The same 5/6 drivers win it race in race out, its just not working anymore. Don't remember the last time Buemi or Abt haven't had it, and Vandoorne and Da Costa have had it every race as well this season. Think Massa and Di Grassi is only the other 2 that get it pretty much. I think it needs scrapping.

Attack Mode has certainly made things interesting, just needs ironing out, and yeah, Coverage still needs some improvements, but its still very young. They definitely do a better podium ceremony than F1

Fan Boost is a nice idea, but I agree it's not been as good this season as in past seasons.

Maybe they should consider excluding a driver who gets it for 2 consecutive races...or some such caveat within the rules. Or maybe a 1% penalty in the votes for every time they get Fan Boost.

This season has been awesome - MORE RAIN RACES PLEASE :D :D :D

Another good race, and lots of overtakes, something F1 hasn't got! Bird did a master class with the overtakes and Sims crashed into everyone it seems. Top 8 all separated between 1 race win still which makes it even more exciting!
