Hi, i think that it would be a good idea to have another server on GPRO, so we can have 2 teams within an account.

Of course it won't be an obligation to play on both servers.

And the races will still be during Tuesday/Friday, so we'll have to spend less time doing practices, etc. than if the races would happen during another day than those ones.

Which means that if you want you can run a 2nd team.

Those who run a second account will have an advantage in the form of double the amount of data, so I don't see the need for a second server.

Well, actually it works very well in another game, i thought that it would be a god idea to suggest it, and it seems that it's not.

This would be a business decision which would be made solely by Vlad and Stef the commercial owners. Please take ideas like this directly to them.

For the reason Jack pointed out and a few more, Administrators have decided that we can only have one account per player and one player per computer. Even with an extra server, running double accounts wouldn't be viable, and the reason is mainly ideological: they strongly believe this way the game stays healthy and the community too.

I agree with Mike too; adding a new server is a very personal business decision that contemplates a HUGE number of variables. My comment about you paying for the new server + its maintenance was a way to point out there are some factors you are not taking account of when you make this suggestion. It's no doubt a very complex decision and I'm sure that if it has not been done till now it's because Admins have analysed pros and cons of it and discarded it for not being viable.

But surely if they were making it one way or another they wouldn't entirely discount the opinion of the playerbase, which this thread will shine a little light on

I'd probably quit if there was another server, dilution of competition isn't appealing at all. If you have two servers there'll be two elite champions and then... which one is the real champion?

IMO I thought that it would act like an anti-DA, because with having 2 servers, the players would stop creating another account.

TBH I don't think that any of the actual active player will see the end result :p

They would create a second account, if not, why needed the new server? Having a second server would mean that you could have second account in a legal way, without being punished for it.

Tell me another joke please, this is just hilarious XD

If managers are allowed to have 2nd accounts, there will always be some wanting a 3rd, a 4th, a 5th.... same way as now they are allowed to have 1 and want 2 3, 4 or more. The ones wanting and advantage or more gameplay will always want more. And the cheaters will always be cheaters. Not putting both types of players in the same bag; just stating separate facts: you can't please everyone. Ever.
