Just days after Michael Schumacher's horrible accident former world champion Lewis Hamilton,in what is considered a wrong move by the champ posted some of his skiing pics on instagram while on a holiday which at this juncture is ridiculous and unnecessary given a ex race driver’s current condition.Lewis also posted some pics where he's without a helmet, which also sparked some anger in the F1 community. I would like to know the thoughts of the Gpro community on what they think is right or wrong.
Here's the link to the entire story- http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/michael-schumacher-s...
I personally think that it was unneeded and he shouldn't have posted these pics particularly at such a time when Michael is battling for his life.
I already knew that people on Gpro would support Lewis but I still made this poll because I wanted to see how much they love Michael and I'm very much seeing it!

There is nothing wrong with Lewis posting photo's from his holiday, not wearing an helmet is a bad idea after what Michael's doctors have said but if it all goes wrong on the slopes it will only hurt Lewis.

Don`t want to sound insensitive or anything, but because Michael Schumacher suffered an unfortunate accident does that mean he can`t have a bit of fun by skiing? (and those pictures, except one for them, show it was more like hiking, not actually skiing). The media are overreacting to pretty much anything these days.

Michael has posted skiing pictures before as well despite people dying on the very same mountain he was skiing down. There is no difference. Skiing is fun, and it is also dangerous. The pictures look good and this is just another case of the UK media finding yet another way to sell newspapers.....and ruthlessly doing so as well, with their typical target being Hamilton.
Don't know why I watch F1 anymore. These stupid newspapers and evil journalists control it.

You are wrong. Have you not read the replies here? Not one person agrees with you.

Well I think there is only one man who has respect for someone.

I think we should start a poll on whether this topic needed a poll.

I did by not removing the poll instantly. :)

Quote ( Hamd Kazimi @ January 1st 2014,12:40:57 ) My respect for schumi. I respect Schumi too, in fact, with the possible exceptions of Ronaldo and Hagi, he was the athlete I looked up to most when I was a kid. I even stopped watching F1 after he retired. But how is Lewis posting pics from his holiday disrespectful towards Schumi? It could`ve been classed disrespectful if he`d have posted pics from the site of the accident, but this? No. He`s on a holiday, minding his own business.

The poll here is much needed I think to see what people think about it.

You can figure that out simply through the discussion.

Didn't Schumi take people out of F1 races at times?
Guess he had respect for other drivers, huh?

Ya It's great he's enjoying,he should be after a long season, but this isn't a right time to post such pics that's all I'm saying.. No disrespect for Lewis from my side, just saying that it wasn't the right time to do that and that's why he faced the wrath of F1 fans all over the world except here in Gpro unsurprisingly!

www.mirror.co.uk Okay that one goes on the blacklist too. It seems to me like they're desperate for Hamilton's blood. Like it's Hamilton's fault that Schumacher had an accident at the same time he was on a holiday. What a joke.
What is it with those British websites? They should be getting behind their sportsmen, not degrading them.

Ya,but polls are sometimes great for instant results from the managers.

Is this thread a wind up? I once went skiing in Norway and didn't wear a helmet does that mean I can't put a picture on Facebook? Some people really need to get a life.

No,but why post such pics at this juncture when F1 fans are praying for Michael's well being.

Because he's free to do what he wishes. Do you think Schumi would want enforced censorship on his behalf?
