Adam, this is a mental game to join as you first game. Get yourself in an open set up, Stuart's recruiting for the next game right now, a variable open set up, and you'll do well, I'm sure.

Michael and Jimmy best friends, what a nightmare. MW can be rendered lucky to have died so early :P

Mafia Roles

Vlado - Ben Horne

Untargetable by any action except from Sheriff Truman. This made him sort of a Godfather to Andy's weak doc.

Tim-Oliver - Josie Packard

Redirector

Anna - Leo Johnson

Arsonist (as you all know by now)

Kirsty - Bobby Briggs

Ben Horne's protege - Gained Ben's powers when Vlado was dead.

Stuart - Hank Jennings

Goon - "You are a bicep, Hank. Relax until I tell you to flex". Hank left his trademark domino piece at the crime scene.

Safe Claims

Sheriff's Deputy Andy Brennan
Dick Tremayne
Donna Hayward
Dr Lawrence Jakoby
Norma Jennings
Sarah Palmer
Shelley Johnson
Jerry Horne
Maddy Fergusson
Mike Nelson
Mikko Harju

Bah, I think this was the fourth game in a row that I've lost. And it was the third time within a year that I was some sort of mason.

While there were moments when I intentionally decided not to post, my low level of activity was mostly caused by lack of time to dedicate to the game. I am satisfied with how I used my 1-shot ability, so the game wasn't a complete failure.

As for the setup, I think it was balanced enough. Mafia did get lucky with Nicholas basically giving them a second (or third) kill. I agree with Kevin about Anna's role being too swingy, though.

Ah finally, can breath and post again - really fun game, hadn't had so much fun since my early mafia days and am glad that I won in my first game after a while. Big thanks to my teammates the fantastic four ~ altho we outposted them severely 3 vs 2 :))

Few key things, Tim's read/hunch helped immensely, at least at not getting killed at random nights. Daniel stopped the spree, but 2 deaths were enough, since we lost 1 NK on N1. I don't know how Tim did it but great to play with him.

Anna was playing nice and was nuf to keep her safe for at least 3 nights and set the charges off. I wasn't even aware how much she was in danger initially with those roles as Eric's or Brent watching her. Even Eduardo.

I know I didn't give out best presentations as town in thread, altho I tried to read as much into as I could, but by process of elimination most of us were framed but not caught. I was sincere that I didn't go for Mikko but wth it seems Eduardo had something to do with it XD ? :)

I called Brent's watcher out - Mikko's Ed, altho he wasn't cop :( - Michael my dearest target - him forcing on D2 that he's commuting when he wasn't - N2, later Grant with tracker on Hawk altho he didn't seem to crumb it intentionally :P, and few other tids and tads that helped us win. Pretty happy there.

Although Anna and Tim did allot of heavy lifting we did is as a team and I'm glad it finished successfully. With bit less of Lee and Daniel next time it'll be even better :P Jk of course, but Daniel's target was a gift certainly, altho hard to judge how it would impact the game further.

Apparently I watched and tracked, that could have been very useful and crumbed it to hard early. Other places I play you can get away with it, here you can't I see.

Had a lot of fun, will get involved in another when I have more time.

May well do that.

Out of interest, in these big games is it normal for everyone, or nearly everyone, to have a specifi role rather than just being vanilla?

Yeah, pretty much. They're sometimes referred to as 'role madness'.

I would have commuted N2 lol.
Adam would have had an innocent on me, and Andy's protection would have saved me anyway.

I figured that Kirsty had to be scum from that messed up video that I got from commuting; just the look on her character's face when my character was having a vision; vision had to be wrong. Problem is, it wasn't even circumstantial evidence against her.

The twin peaks were both scum, plus a couple of other tits, and Tim.

For anyone in the UK that wanted to watch it and hadn't (I remember Kirsty mentioning it and being too cheap to buy it :p), or just wants to watch it again, I've just seen an advert for Twin Peaks on Syfy. They will be showing it all starting next Monday (1st September). :)
