sorry to keep harping on, but how can someone who hasn't posted anything on the forum this season, and has missed most of the races have had the biggest impact on the game this season? Could someone please explain what his contribution has been which has been ground breaking?
it looks totally random to me, but then again, i may have missed something.

Dougie, if you mean TT, then he is a person who have had a big impact to game, but haven't won that award just yet.

I actually think the award should be changed to remove the "this season" part. It's a "Hall of Fame" style award, and can't be won more than once. As such, I think it doesn't need to refer to this season specifically.
While the wording clearly says "this season", many don't pay attention to it anyway.
