Ive literally blocked my group from start until now here at Paul Ricard, and none of my team mates have managed a single overtake in their races too, blocked all race.

Given the weather i suspect everyone's on the same tactics, so it could be just that pace difference isnt that big, hence less overtakes.

GPRO overtaking chart:

Very easy overtaking: Normal overtaking
Easy overtaking: Overtake if the guy ahead has wrong tyres or extreme wobbling
Medium overtaking: Overtake if the guy ahead is smoking
Hard overtaking: Overtake if the guy has a DM+smoking+wrong tyres
Very hard overtaking: Overtake if the guy ahead has a puncture or isn't feeling well in his helmet.

Indeed, with 50 overtaking risks I was behind someone for 20 laps until I got a tech problem which was fixable.

You just aren't doing it right.

Overtaking is easy if you turn your driver into Rambo.

I saw lot's of overtaking and then come right back and lose the position. The guy you just passed..... overtakes you on the next lap.

However, that being said, there were people with high defensive risks and moderate pace that led trains, as well.

Blocker that takes 1.4s out of everyone's race pace, is a high risk blocker. Everybody behind loses time and they are overtaking each other.... going nowhere.

Frustrating for sure. Game bug? Not likely.

We had a pack of about 8 cars in my group with roughly the same pace (based off later in race pace when running alone).

Saw all sorts of overtaking.

First few laps saw lots of card wizzing by me and not just the usual first lap ones. This was in rookie so plenty of different strategies on offer. One in particular seemed to overtake about 20+ cars throughtout the race (overtake 6, lose the places while pitting and repeat). Overtaking could definitely be done but possibly this time relied on having a poor overall race strategy which is more common in rookie.

I wouldn't call the 0.6-0.7s per lap slower pace of Ferrieri blocking the hell out of your train for 16 laps precisely roughly the same pace for such a short track. The all sort of overtakings were mostly a lot of guys rotating behind him, without the serious consequences of most tracks where you are trying to overtake and instead you are getting DMs, but the fact that the actual overtaking of the very slow guy took so long is, in my opinion, a bit over the board, especially in a supposedly easy overtaking difficulty track.

lol, check M1, lap 71 and onwards (or L59 and onwards for "just" smoking but not overtaking).

Best thing is someone went from being 2.5s behind me the previous lap to 0.8s in front of me in 1 lap, i didn't DM, i'm on 100 defending risk (i know, overkill :D) and its VH overtaking. Surely boost laps ain't that effective on 100ct users

Almost 4 secs faster. Even 100 blocking can't beat that.
