Marijuana is illegal in my country unless used for medical reasons (what illness can be treated with marijuana?) In Ireland however we have a kind of substitute which you can eat and smoke.

Marijuana is a drug "light", however can be input to harder drugs such as cocaine and crack.
On the other hand, drugs that cause most damage in our society are legal (alcohol and cigarettes).

Thats bs...Marijuana will not cause anyone to do other drugs..The people who do other drugs want to do them and blaming marijuana for it is an excuse.

I used to have strong opinions against marijuana. Nowadays I don't give a shit. If someone wants to smoke weed, go ahead, not my problem. Haven't tried smoking it ever myself, doubt I ever will but we'll see.

Contact this for dependents. I have worked with drug addicts and their life story is very similar.
Most start using drugs in adolescence, often alcohol and marijuana. Then start the harder drugs.
Of course there are people who smoke marijuana to life and can lead a perfectly normal life.
But that is not for everyone. I for one, do not drink alcohol there are 8 or 9 years. I stopped drinking because I could not control myself. The alcohol was dominating my life. I preferred to stop before it was too late.

I believe all plants were put on this earth for a purpose. We as a society have get ingredients for medicines from plants, the marijuana plant is no exception..is it meant to be smoked? probably not but we have found that we can and it has been proven to help as a medicine not to mention all the other benefits of the cannabis plant family

The problem I have with weed is all these people talking about the benefits of it, but no one can stop smoking it long enough to use weed for it's other uses. Then there's the laws here in the U.S. Marijuana is federally illegal, yet there are a number of states that have legalized it for recreational use. No other state than Colorado has it controlled so well, yet they're not worried or even thinking about the consequences on a federal level. Difficult for a state it is to bawk at $1,000,000 net profits in a single day from marijuana sales.

Mason...George Washington was a hemp farmer..He grew and sold the hemp plant. His clothing was made from the hemp plant, rope was made from the hemp plant..If it were legalized by the federal government you would see all the other uses for it on the markets todayand who knows how much more could be made from it with the technology we have now

Colorado residents 21 and older can purchase up to an ounce of pot for recreational use. Non-residents 21 and older can purchase up to an eighth of pot for recreational use. I don't remember the conversions to metric....
