That's how I read it. If it's a complete overhaul of the formulae etc then this place will be a ghost town really quickly. Saying that maybe then I could make it to Elite or maybe not ;)

Ill still play both modes.
Unless its a robust private league with tiers. That way we can not allow the amount of DAs around currently.

It won't be GPRO v2. Basically it will probably be at least at the beginning one group and season per league. If it turns popular there could be an option to have a multi season league where you would have more continuity and maybe maybe a 2-tier structure if someone wants a bigger league.

Some gpro features like driver energy or so high difference in tyres pick temperatures are mistake by my opinion. Sometimes I'm against it.
But this decision about decreasing the number of ama groups is absolutely right in this situation. Too sad that we can't invite a lot of new people, but in this case admins played well.

GPRO no joke. To us, it's not a joke. We are the 2nd most populous nation.
Why do not you try us? There are many valuable and persistent people here.
Not all maths are; there are people behind the numbers. This is GPRO.

I fail to see making relegation from Amateur an actual possibility and more numbers in rookie is a bad thing.
the solution the admins have put in place seems fairly decent, as it allows for future growth , reducing the higher groups as well limits that and causes more disruption to the game in the future if it improves its number of users
Where as the problem with removing any pro/master groups , it also has a ripple effect down the classes which gets bigger the further it goes down.
You clearly don't like the change , I feel the majority of people will see this as beneficial and the fact it has been announced ahead of time even more so :)

As Gastón already pointed out, there's an ongoing Facebook Ad campaign, particularly a video ad. That of course increased the number of registrations dramatically as well as the Mentor Forum sign ups.

Yes, I particularly knew the game for that facebook ad. And I thought it was a new game. I did not think I had so many years of activity. It's interesting and I like it.

being it a widely known fact, maybe i do not need to remember here that the very first session of gpro is the last session in gpro for more than a half of the subscribers.

it's another know fact, but also known is a collective intuition regarding the possibility of early departure being caused because the game is not ostensive in showing the first basics (including mentor topics, tips about drivers) on the first session in an "immersive", seductive way- which was not my case, i went deep in the game in the very first time. but this new generation is not like that. they, unfortunatelly, need more.

It's really good seeing constant and consistent updates as of late, given that Jukka left the team not so long ago. So really good work Vlad.
How are things coming along for the remaining things on the to-do list in the OP? I think we can call (2) and (3) complete which is great to see, and (5) is getting there thanks to Hans. What about the remainder of the translations and mobile app development? And how has this situation changed in the last year? :

Many translations are still stuck/outdated due to lazy/busy/not serious translators. Those are:

Finnish

Greek
Bosnian
Latvian
Malay
Maltese
Danish
Hindi

If anyone is serious and wants to become a translator in any of those languages, send your applications to me.
There is no progress on the mobile app.
The private leagues development has unfortunately also been still since Jukka left (as I mentioned in another topic). Nothing stops me from picking it up again at some point in the future (when time allows and I don't work on other things), but it would have to use the existing race engine (instead of the new one Jukka was working on). If Jukka was able to return at some point (though I doubt he would ever want it), it could help move things in the right direction much quicker.
