Apologies, you are correct......it will be fixed shortly.
EDIT: Results are now updated above. The only players affected by the change were 4th through 6th place.

note to all :
I shall be retiring from playing at the end of this season....I have a lot going on and although it takes 5 seconds to play, the less commitments I have the better at this moment.
Kevin, thanks so much for hosting this brilliant game and keep it up...I'll be back at some point for sure. Good luck to the rest of you.
You may aswell put an astrerisk or whatever next to my name Kevin to denote this fact...thought I'd announce tihs before the double header so people know of my intention.
Cheers guys and all the best! Stuart

The Race 14 Results have now been updated/corrected and those few players that had already sent Race 15 values have been notified. And now a little summary:
RACE 14 RESULTS
Kevin P. takes the win in Race 14 by spending 63 SRS to just finish ahead of Stefan G. who has to settle for 2nd place. Igor A. does not go for the guaranteed win and as a result finishes in 3rd place with his 56 SRS spent.
There is quite high spending through the mid-pack in this race and the rewards are slightly lacking for the amount of SRS spent. In past seasons, Race 14 has sometimes seen a lull in SRS spending but that was not the case this season. Ivelin D. is the one mid-pack spender that was unfortunately caught out in the spending spree and is unable to pick up any points.
As Kyle M. mentioned above, his missed SRS value came in a good race as he was able to pick up the best SRS gain at +10 SRS. In all, SRS earned was quite low throughout the field. The best gain could have been with 6 SRS spent, however no one was able to capitalize with this value.
SEASON STANDINGS
Goran S. has returned to the lead after Race 14 with 57 points. He appears to be in a strong position heading into the final races. Josh C. & Stefan G. are both 5 points out of the lead but have a gap over the next players in the field. It would appear that Josh would require the spending to be split quite unevenly in the final 2 races and be on the right side of the split to catch up to Goran. István A. is another player that would require some special luck to be able to catch Goran in the final races.
It would appear that there will once again be a NEW SRS Champion this season as I think it will be too difficult for Kevin P. to grab the title. It could become a quite remarkable 12th straight season with no repeat champions.
Beginning in 7th place, we find that the field is really bunched together and some of those players with small SRS totals may find it difficult to retain. Surprisingly, several of the top ranked players in the SRS Rankings ( /gb/forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=25533&PostId=3744240#post3744240 ) find themselves in some difficult positions in their attempt to retain.
Rookie Battle: It is a nice battle for the Rookie of the Season as Richard R.P. & Danish D. each have 47 points with Richard having the slight SRS advantage. Kyle M. also has a shot at the Rookie title as he is 9 points behind but has 24 more SRS than Richard.
TEAM STANDINGS
Brawn currently holds the lead of the Team standings, however Toyota looks to be in a bit better position as they are 4 points behind and have an extra 20 SRS. I would be slightly surprised if the Team title went to another team at this point, however you never know. There are a couple of other teams that could put the right combination together in the final 3 races.....
GOOD LUCK!

OK - It's Race time again..........
Just UNDER 18 HOURS until the official RACE 15 DEADLINE of 23:00 CET TODAY!

RACE 15 RESULTS
The quick synopsis is that it was a low spending race and Ivelin D. recovers after a poor race 14 to take the win.
SEASON STANDINGS
It appears to be a 2-horse race headed into the final SRS submission between Goran S. & Josh C. While István A. improved his points substantially, his SRS stack now is a little lacking. The couple of players with a small outside shot include Stefan G. & Kevin P.
TEAM STANDINGS
THE FINAL (RACE 16 & 17) DEADLINE is TUESDAY NOVEMBER 10TH @ 23:00CET!

Dammit, 12 is a stupid number anyway... ;)

Now I gave to think smartly about my value, since I have a good chance if climbing multiple positions

Relegating season for me.
(In Gpro and SRS, both)

Maybe time for a 2nd B-League title?

This has been a really good season for me. :P It's probably better than all my SRS B and SRS X seasons combined. XD

Hmm, I promoted when there was 1st season of SRS-B so not many of us were experienced back then. I think that now it'll be harder to obtain it, but relegating doesn't mean that I give up. ;)

OK - It's Race time again..........
THIS IS IT! WHAT YOU SEND THIS TIME WILL DETERMINE YOUR RACE 16 & 17 RESULTS AND YOUR FINAL POSITION!
Just ABOUT 20 HOURS until the RACE 16 DEADLINE of 23:00 CET TODAY!
There will be no Default penalties for the Final race as everyone is OK.
I will send out reminders for Race 16 to those that have not sent yet..........
I anticipate that as is often the case, the FINAL RESULTS will be ready a little bit later than typical results. So, I will do them on Wednesday (my time), so likely sometime between 17-19 CET.

Obviously, this is my favourite race of the season as each PM that I open and each SRS value that I enter potentially affects who is going to win this season.
As a note, when I calculate the statistics after this season, I am looking to do more to include SRS-B into some of the stats. I would like those that relegate not to feel like they have been excluded from the game. Hopefully, this will reduce the retirements from those who are in relegation positions.
|
|
|
If I relegate, ill be coming back for a vengeance.
|
|
|
I'm good at losing things in the last round so I'm not looking forward to this at all ;)
|
|
|
If I relegate, I'd need a reality check to wonder how i relegated with my srs value that high xD

You're Kyle! Anything can happen! ;)

|

Hmm, i am now debating if i want to change my value i have sent xD
|
|

And I said this was my last, it'll potentially stay that way

Wait - you said last season was your last season. Maybe next season can be your last season too!

Kevin is just teasing us now :D

as much as that makes me smile, 12 years later (if you catch what I mean) leaves me 34...

+1. Although team points can't be put together sadly, but as a player it's good even if you get 1st place lower points (in SRS-B) than 26th place with higher points.

Officially, I will now not accept anymore SRS values or changes. It looks like I have some stuff to take care of at home first, which will mean that it may be a few hours yet. I am still hoping to have everything ready by 19:00 CET at the latest.
What odds do you give to the potential winners?
