Welcome all to Season 13 of the SRS-A League (Single Resource Strategy) !

This game was created by Henri Erilaid who hosted the Test Season, however I have been hosting since Season 1.
The game is simple. There is just one type of resource in the game. It could be called anything, but let's just call it money and the currency SRS.
Currently there is no prize pool, however if anyone would like to sponsor the game, it will certainly be appreciated but not necessary to make this game a success.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
TOP 20 RETURNING PLAYERS (spots guaranteed until end of Tuesday November 17th):
1. Please ##confirm your spot for Season 13 with NO Changes or list any changes please.
2. If you are remaining on same team, you may choose your team (otherwise, your spot on last season's team & # becomes available)
3. Choose your 'car' number -> between #0 - 99 (#1 Reserved for Defending Champion & can not be used by anyone else).
**Note** Default Values do NOT carry over from one season to the next

> You may adjust/change your team colours from last season
> Returning players are able to change teams to any of the free spots.

6 PLAYERS IN RELEGATION ZONE
1. Please ##Join to confirm your spot in SRS for Season 13 - this will secure your spot on the waiting list for empty slots in SRS-A AND Guarantee your spot in SRS-B.
2. DO NOT make a Team or # selection - this will occur beginning sometime around Saturday November 21st or earlier depending upon when the Promoters have chosen their spots.
NEW PLAYERS:
There will be At LEAST 3 OPEN SPOTS in SRS-B this season. If a new player would like to JOIN this wonderful game, you may ##Join to put yourself on the waiting list for a spot in SRS-B League which opens on Saturday November 21st. I will send a reminder when the SRS-B thread opens up.
GOAL--> To finish the season with the most POINTS gained from the 17 races. The amount of SRS you have remaining at the end of the season is not important and will be spent in the final race. The player with the most points wins the Championship. If you do not win the Championship or even finish on the podium, then your goal should be to retain your position in the SRS-A League.
Currently the game consists of two leagues - the top league which is called SRS-A League and the league one step below it, called SRS-B League. At the end of each season, there will be promotions and relegations between the 2 leagues.
SCHEDULE
Race deadlines will occur at 23:00:00 CET on Tuesday, Friday & Sunday each week.
Results should be posted by 16:00 CET on the following day.
RACE #1 will be on Tuesday November 24th.
RULES
1. Everyone starts the season with 35 SRS.
2. There are 17 races in a season.
3. This season the game will consist of 26 players with the top 20 finishers at the end of the season guaranteeing a spot in next season's game.
4. Points system is for the top 12 finishers: 15-12-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
5. You gain money depending on your position from 35 SRS (1st) to 10 SRS (26th).
6. Who positions where in a race is determined by how much SRS they spend for the race. The more spent, the better the position.
7. If two or more players spend the same amount, they receive the amount of points and the amount of SRS as if they positioned in the lower position.
EXAMPLE: If 2nd-4th in the race spent the same amount, they will all only gain 4th position SRS and points.)

8. If there is a tie for last place, then the SRS Earned will be decreased from the normal 10 SRS to a value equal to 10-(number tied-1)
EXAMPLES:
If there are 2 people that send 0 SRS, then they will receive 10-(2-1) = 9 SRS
If there are 3 people tied for last place that send 1 SRS, then they will receive 10-(3-1) = 8 SRS
9. You can only spend in INTEGERS (AKA 1,2,3,4,5... but not 1,5/1.5 or 2,00001 etc.
10. End of season ties will be broken using GPRO's method (i.e. most wins, then most 2nds, then most 3rds etc.)
11. Default values may only be used consecutively 4 times after which point, you will receive only 50% of any points and SRS earned and all values will be rounded down to the nearest whole number.
GUIDELINES
->How to spend for a certain race?
Send me a message titled SRS and the following message:
"Next race: X SRS".
If you send a value higher than your current SRS total, then I will use your full SRS balance.
Default Values
>Please assign a default value to use. In case you miss a race, this value will be used as the amount of SRS you will spend. You may change your default value at any point. If you do not have that amount of SRS equal to the default, then you will spend all remaining SRS in your account.
>Feel free to set a very high Default value if necessary and then I will use your full total of SRS
>Default values can be used for a maximum of 4 consecutive races after which time, you will incur a Default Penalty. At this point, your points & SRS received will be decreased by 50%, rounded down to the nearest whole number.
>If a player has a Default penalty in Race 16 as a result of using their default value for 5 or more races (i.e Races 12-16), then they will also use their Default Value in Race 17 and will also be incurring the Default Penalty in Race 17.
**Note** Default Values do NOT carry over from one season to the next.
If you wish to change default value (I will assume it is 0 for everyone at the start), then a message should be:

Default value: X SRS"
Sending more than one race at a time
If at any time during the season you would like to send more than one race at a time, you are definitely permitted to do so, up to 5 races at a time. As an example, if you wish to send 3 races at a time, please use the following format:
Title: SRS
"Next race: X SRS
Race #?: X SRS
Race #?: X SRS
Default value: X SRS"
TEAM COMPETITION
This season, we will have teams of two playing for a constructor's championship as well. You are required to join a team. Teams can be only of past or present F1 teams. Each player within a team will be using their own SRS (they will not be combined together). The team winner will simply be the team with the most combined points.
END of SEASON PROMOTIONS and RELEGATIONS
1. The top 20 players in SRS-A will be guaranteed a spot in the A League for the following season.
2. The remaining 6 spots will be secured those in the promotion spots of SRS-B (the top 6 finishers)
3. If there are SRS-A players who retire or choose not to play in SRS-A next season, then those spots will be assigned in the following order:
1 retirement: 7th in SRS-B
2 retirements: 7th in SRS-B & 21st in SRS-A
3 retirements: 7th & 8th in SRS-B, 21st in SRS-A
4 retirements: 7th & 8th in SRS-B, 21st & 22nd in SRS-A
5 retirements: 7th, 8th & 9th in SRS-B, 21st & 22nd in SRS-A
and so on, and so on..........
All players in the game will be guaranteed a spot in the game in the following season, whether it is in SRS-A or SRS-B

There is NO need to mention reminders - just let me know if you would NOT like reminders.
This season there are NO FREE TEAMS Available at the moment , however any of the players that are by themselves on a team may change Team names, colours etc.

Given that there are 2 confirmed retirements from the game, I have allowed Jim to take his spot back at McLaren. Hopefully there are no objections as usually, those in the relegation zone have to wait until all others have confirmed.

Yes - that is good. You will definitely be in SRS-B this season as there are 3 AVAILABLE spots for the B-League.
