I am in the Rookie class and have just recruited a new driver for 17 races with a rating of 85.
My concern is that if I compete in the last race of the season and his rating improves to 86 then I will lose him for the new season.
If I don't compete in the last race can anyone tell me if he will still be with me for 17 races or will he only be available for 16 races?
Thanks.

If you skip a race it will still count as a race against your drivers contract.

Drivers at 85 OA are not always the best, and if you don't complete in the last race you will lose your £5M bonus for doing the whole season.

Have you considered whether you could race but in such a way that the drivers OA does not increase, or perhaps even goes down? I realise that can be far easier said than done in Rookie.

Especially after the last market of the season ;-)
