Quote ( Jonathan Beagles @ November 30th 2020,01:39:15 ) Yes...though it looks like we will have 2 races per race weekend rather than 1 race moving forwards, so that will make those opening 2 races a little less important.
That said, I'm open to hearing opinions on this - so we'll have a vote on this post:
GREEN THUMB = Keep the opening 2 races of the season
ORANGE THUMB = Re-run the opening 2 races of the season
EDIT - Poll will be open until Sunday 6th December at 23:59 cet.
Post #328 if you haven't voted yet, for whether we re-boot the season entirely or start from Race 3 onwards...
Also now just waiting on Janne and Dom to vote for their preferred times and I will draw up a calendar for January onwards - there is no 1 time across the weekend that everyone can make, so instead I plan to run 2 races each weekend (one on a Saturday and one on a Sunday) and have a decent amount of dropped scores to accommodate the fact that most won't make every race.

So just checking in with a couple of people who have only selected 3-5 possible time-slots (most people have selected 10-15 minimum of the 28 options available), and still waiting for Dom and Romain (though no mad rush for them) to complete the time questionnaire.
Right now, this looks a challenge to get a time where everyone can race each weekend - even with 2 time-slots in. Hopefully those people who have only selected a few time slots can be more flexible and that will open up possibilities - otherwise the only way I can think to do it is to either:
a) Continually change the time of the races each week - but in a logical order, e.g. Race Weekend 1 @10:00 CET, Race Weekend 2 @ 11:00 CET etc. b) Choose race times that suit the vast majority and those who can't be as flexible are likely left out
I'm probably leaning towards a) rather than b) but still retaining hope I won't need to do either and we can have consistent race times each weekend instead, IF those people can be more flexible...

Post #328 - last day to vote on it FYI...looking like we will have a re-run of the whole season, so all points set to 0 and those who had wins etc. will lose them from the record books.

Good news - checking in has yielded a little more flexibility...hoping I can figure something out still, though waiting on @Romain Lebreton (A36) and @Sagar Abhyankar (A40) to fill out the QRO Race Times form before I can make any definitive decisions.
There is still 1 spot remaining - which I anticipate will be filled by someone new when the practice race starts.
---------------------------------------
At some point in the next week or so, I will make a post in this thread that asks you to submit your strategies (1, 2 or 3 stops) for the Practice Race at Donnington.
When you see that post happen, all you have to do is PM me with your choice of 1, 2 or 3 stops. Fastest 20 PMs I receive will qualify for the practice race. Timing of the practice race will be determined by whoever PMs me fastest, with me working out a time that most people can do that gives those who respond quicker a slight advantage based on their availability.
NB - rammifications of 1, 2 or 3 stops can be seen on post #3-#4 in this thread.

I have no objections - but it is Romain's choice...
EDIT - Romain if you swapped, you would be with Mairo in Stebro.

Of course! This is why I asked him to ensure it is fine. Romain is more than welcome to stay at the best team in the world :)
