Race 7

Well, I thought Race 6 was a demonstration by Dmitry Nechitailo, but it turns out that it was just an appetizer. Starting from the front row of the grid and staying away from slick tyre gambles this time, he lapped the whole Pipi field by lap 11.

The track dried up not much later, but this was no problem for Nechitailo who continued to be 6 seconds per lap faster than his rivals. Slightly unexpectedly, the track then got wet again. Rumour has it that this was not rain, but the tears of other Pipirelli managers.

Nechitailo was pushing his engine so hard it had a hiccup in lap 26, but even this was not a problem: he simply pitted to fix the issue and carried on, eventually finishing 7th overall as none of his rivals made 90% race distance.
