And at least in this GP Laila is right about the randomness in Q's :)

In fact I would name Laila the most lucky qualifier this season in Elite ant not in just this race. But I might be wrong.

And in this race qualify mistakes in practice are really huge. Over 1sec for pros. I dont know if it is logical because I do not have any experience about ovals

The 'logic' here (as opposed to the logic of other tracks) is that Oval is top speed all around, whereas other tracks require you to accelerate, brake much harder.

So, if you're running at 320 Km/h and gets a DM that takes you down to 305-310 Km/h it might relate to that huge mistakes. So, my feeling is that mistakes are like they always have been ... just the track attributes are potentializing them up.

Whilest I agree that a DM will cost you more time on this track I've to admit that DM's happen way too often on this track. It doesn't seem logical to me that a Master driver has a DM every 2nd lap judging on practice laps.

I am not saying this is not right because I just don't know but how drivers make mistake in every single lap then? especially in elite where they are nearly perfect according to gpro standarts.

I still do not believe in your driver. I mean I know he is not good but he should be able to be faster vs 10lvl cars without luck factor :P
Depends on how you value your qualify.

For me the scale is like that:

worse than practice - very bad
0 | -0,1sec - kinda bad
-0,1sec | - 0,3sec average
-0,3sec | - 0,5sec decent/good
-0,5sec | -0,7sec very very good
-0,7sec | -1sec something uber but dont need a name for that because it does not happen at all for me ;P ok maybe oince a season :P

And what is mediocre for you? 0,3sec? worse than 0,3sec? cant ybelive.
Worse than 0,5sec? also dont believe it was just 0,5sec

According to your scale she is right, her qualies were worse than 0,3s. But this track is different.

I am not amazed.

This all discussion started with a simple sentence about luckiest qualify manager. I thought it is Laila but maybe I am wrong.

But still, luck factor is the same for everybody more or less, right? (at least in elite :P)

Ha thanks guys but I'm a fraud! I'm not on a proper strategy so no way I'll be competing for any points tonight + I don't have the part wears to finish the race.

Apologies to Justinas as well who may have got his first pole if it wasn't for my silly qualifying.
