Cant believe all the moaning of some people....Now maybe you feel and understand what a new guy feels when is sent to race with a knife and a fork, and all what is said to him is FOBY and more FOBY,think, train, guess, practice and find it by yourself.....amazing thatr expirienced managers are afraid of this after only the first race.Maybe they should do what they always advice to new people, think, practice, figure out things....Thing this is a great change, but it can and should be improved.Energy should be shown during the race, and also in the race analysis. But other than that.it gives GPRO a new life, and far from RIP as some people said.....

After seeing the enormous effect of the Energy thing, losing -96% after using some discrete CT 40 only...

... I guess Grpo has turned into another thing with this change. Dynamics, strategies, use of data, planings and such have gone ashtray.

Surely, now it will be and 'before' and and 'after' in Gpro in relation to this 'new feature'. It's yet to see if it could be considered an improvement... or another thing, yet I think nobody will doubt it's impact has been huge.

And even in race analysis there's no info at what time your energy ended. LOL, game really looks like lottery, make your guesses gentlemen.

Pilot error + energy 0%= End race!

What good many adjustments and calculations in the end what will decide is just and only energy?

I am in favor of changes, but I think this new system should be reviewed and improved.

Does the driver energy restore between races? So, if you do testing or no testing, would that make a change to energy for the next race start?

you didn't really understand a point of that post, did you? :)

I'm trying to say that new feature is making game more realistic.
I'll try to give you few examples...
-football players are not all going in attack even when they tra to make pressure on opponent
-F1 drivers don't go in 90° first corner with full power when they see other cars are already there (ok,except Verstappen)
-in swimming, you're not going faster if you just try to move your arms as fast as you can (you'll drown)
get it... or not yet?

And anyway... where is the problem? A guy who started from pole have just won.

lol you are totally wrong. 100CT push means you put your power pedal to the limit, and then you get more usage of engine, if you reduce this push, let's half to the 50% you don't go with full speed but you save its wear. Now you understand ? Why Elite can't do that ? Your examples are just stupid, really. You can swim faster or slower and you can compare it to the risks here.
I'm done explaining anything to people who can't even understand the simplest things ...

it really looks like you can play with length of stints by driver energy :) because of wear :D :D that´s the only good feature of this change :/ on the other hands i dont see any good point of this :(

It is really shame you cannot use risks as you want because you are limited by your driver and his energy so then 0-100 choice to run risks is absolutely useless unless you wanna pusch half of the race and give up the rest of the race :/ I dont like it at all but I will have to live with this :) at least I can make some new strategies which I couldnt do before :D :D

2.3 Driver race risks and driver energy

In between races, your driver will slowly recover energy.

There's more info in that chapter, I'd encourage to have a read there

I thought people would still be able to use 100% ct for a race but then suffer later on cause energy would not regenerate fast enough for you to be able to push next race, the way it is now it feels like with bad drivers you cant compete at all.

Before this driver long term training wasn't the best way to play the game but it could be done, now I'm not sure its an option

I used 25% risks this race if you mean that, was speaking more in general, and since in elite people cant use 100% ct and not run out of energy

So sad by the new system tonight, realy i don't understand why this new system is too bad.

It's again a game of automobile race or not because if we can't push, why play?

Manage our budget is our problem but can't push a car, it's not race for me.

That why i am so sad.

So. Why me with not bad pilot in Master group can't drive 100 ct?
Why in Elite most drivers unable to 100ct?
I can't understand it.
Where is balance now? If you driver can use 100 ct it can be more fast then the other one, even if he go 80 and energy would not go to 0. It is lousy update of this game!

Look at the bright side, guys, lower CT = lower parts' wear, so if we're forced to use less risk with this driver energy, we'll have more cash in the bank. ;)

I do agree that it needs to be tweaked a bit. We can't have just a few top Elite managers being able to push all the way when the rest will run out off energy before the end of the race; it creates more inequality in favor of those who have the top drivers and fer others it makes it a lot harder to retain Elite and progress further up the ladder.

Just one thing remains to be seen, energy recovery. It may be that those who even got to the end of the race without losing all the energy will not recover it all, especially when we have just 3 days between rounds, and that could open the door for those who preserved their drivers. It's just that by the time there is an open window for the slower guys to score, their drivers will run out of motivation and will be that much slower again anyway, so the top guys will run lower risk and still have the pace advantage. Hopefully that can be overcome.

Mark, you always talk like you know everything there is to know about this game.

The way you reply to others, looks like you've been in Elite for ever, but you're here since S8 and you haven't even reached Master until now... Maybe a bit less arrogant would suit you better, huh ? Just an oppinion....

I like change but would like to see you Be able to change driver risks maybe have it in 4 qtrs like weather so I could use 20 ct risk in 1st qtr ( when I am likely to be held up and then maybe 70 risks in 3rd qtr .

Of course somebody else might do it different hence would work ?

Now go and prove us all wrong ;)
