The quicker the next engine formula can come along the better in all honesty....this dominance is guaranteed of only one thing - it won't last :) New owners + Ferrari getting upset will steer things into a different direction without a doubt. Whether that will be a better one or just more of the same artificial racing, who knows :)

That's like saying Rossi hasn't won anything in a while. You can't exactly have the sport without them :P

which is exactly why it can't last really :) as Josh said above before I could reply :p Without Ferrari there is no F1 so...things will certainly change before too long, and that will certainly be from the next Engine formula.

That was a pretty good race.

I think Ricc needed just 1-2 more laps and then he might have caught and possibly passed Nico, but it was a good finish anyway!

Still a bit gutted Kimi's missed out on a podium again, but happens...
Vettel did a fairly good race as well after starting last!

Ferrari probably should have left Kimi out rather than pitting him. I'm doubtful as to whether Hamilton could have chased him down considering the issues he had. 20 odd seconds in 15 laps? I'm not sure he could have done it. I know ricci nearly caught Nico, but, Hamilton was driving pretty terribly all weekend and I doubt he could have done as good a job in the remaining laps as Ricci did. Ferrari definitely had more to lose by risking that undercut than putting 23 seconds in their pocket. It's not like there was any threat to them behind Hamilton in any case. So, another bad call from them I think.

Thing was, they had track position with Kimi, and it was almost certain that they'd lose the place to Hamilton if they'd pit, and they knew Hamilton had the pace to stay ahead as he was catching Kimi before they pit. They were almost guaranteed 4th if he pit, but if he stayed out he could've even held 2nd. Could've though... but that's better than guaranteeing 4th.

Of course it has to hurt being second to the champion, but I guess now it's being even worse since Red bull happen to be better than ferrari, or at least more consistent.
Ferrari is not improving, and now they decided to prioritize 2016 season over new 2017 car

I thought this race turned out to be really good. That Verstappen-Kvyat battle was good stuff. If only Danny Ric had one more lap. Would have been nice to see him get that win. I'll try to get some videos up on here soon.

Verstappen is an idiot as usually.

Hulk was saying on RTL today that, since he could get the record for most races without podium today, he'll try his best to not get onto it. After all, he "worked hard" for that.

Working well for him so far :D

I blame vettel I think. He squeezed Verstappen towards the wall and therefore into Raikkonen. Bit annoying though, after that Alonso would've been going round the outside for 3rd place...

I disagree. Vettel in theory should have seen both Max and Kimi coming from the left. However, it is raining.

I would question why Vettel was moving across the track into a path that both Verstappen and Raikkonen were in and not leaving space for barely one car never mind two.

I say racing incident firstly cos its raining so can't really blame anyone, but if blame is to be apportioned, Vettel should have checked his left mirror / put wipers on it so he could actually use it in these conditions ;)

After this result, Vettel doesn't deserve the title. Ricciardo for me should be champ, best driver in F1 :p

Vettel is completely crazy! If he is not punished today, I no longer understand all the regulations. vettel pulls over and overlooks kimi. how can you be so stupid? hamilton says thank you

He should get 6 points on his license for that. 3 for squeezing out Kimi and another 3 for squeezing out Max.

Nah racing incident. It was such a slight squeeze and to be fair you can't see anything in your mirrors at the start of a wet race. Points on his license is too far, especially seeing as he didn't get any for purposefully hitting Hamilton in baku

Yeah, that's what I think too, but if there "has" to be blame, then its Vettel's for sure.

Don't think its enough for punishment, just a bit irresponsible. He should have taken more care in those conditions, but nothing really bad that he did, just edged in too far I think.
