Are we still playing this? Kevin said 'Spock' and won. Deal with it.

So how close/far are you from the sun ? xD

ok arguements
the reason round earthers believe the earth is round is purely from the calculations of what we are being told. The sun isnt as far away as you believe it is that far away because thats what were told. We are told also that the sun is fixed at a point and we revolve around it and the moon also revolves around earth? in true sync of a time based calculation. the theaory that the universe expanding or slowing down doesnt show this as days would get longer/shorter but they re,aon constamt since time began.
Videos of that dude falling to earth from basocally space show the cam looking at earth round, but when the cam looks up at him the sky is ball/round shaped thus contridicting that theory.
The point at wich something goes out of sight and appear to mean it dissappears over the horizon is also proof that its distance only as if you had a strong enough lense then you would still see it but it becomes too weak and too far away otherwise.
i asked about the sun and its light but light prjection came into it,meaning that the light from the said sun isnt 100% round and its light isnt projected that wat instead its directed so that ther are even blind spots and thats why we see dark/light...

Quote ( Marcin Milczarek @ August 21st 2017,21:59:00 ) There is one strong sufficient proof that the Earth is not flat. If you stand at the North Pole and look up you can see stars moving in counterclockwise direction. At the South Pole the stars are moving in clockwise direction. On top of that, you don't see the same stars in the Arctic that you can see on Antartica.

other thing is stars from the space station vids are all white, the stars appernatly are not,its the atmosphere that filters out the colours...

And who are those "we" you are saying get told this rubbish? Flat earthers???
What happens in your opinion, when you "ping" the man made LRRR reflectors on the moon with lasers and how can that method be used to measure it's distance from earth?
How does this calculation play into it? distance = (speed of light × time taken for light to reflect) / 2

lol
hahaha. She sounds like she's from Swindon.
I go there 5 times a week and most people around there speak like this.
So, pity me. I'm bein' mugged off, innit. :)

It looks extremely round because of the lens of the camera. He wasn't high enough for the curvature of the earth to look anywhere near like it did in the footage.

Wot
The sun is not on a fixed point, you can find this out by googling. The sun is orbiting the centre of the Milky Way galaxy that we are a apart of. Scientists know that there is a supermassive black hole at the centre of the galaxy (and at the centre of most galaxies) because they observed stars orbiting the centre back in the 1990s. They were orbiting what looked like nothing, due to it just being black, which confirms the supermassive black hole theory (read into it more for a more in-depth description).
Days aren't getting longer or shorter because the universe expanding essentially has nothing to do with it. Days getting longer/shorter would depend on the earth's orbit around the sun, which itself varies within a rough range. You may need to understand more about gravity.
You really need to search more of this information and try to find out the reasons which is claimed in science, because things that are accepted in science are able to be reproduced. You're not just "told" that these things happen, you are essentially shown how to try it yourself based on the use of a methodology in a scientific paper, so you can reproduce what has been produced. Science is not like politics, which generally doesn't use facts to prove themselves, so please don't confuse the two.

Quote ( Joe Manifold @ August 27th 2017,01:47:36 ) You may need to understand more about gravity. I doubt he believes in gravity. Most flat earthers don't. There's really not much point in trying to convince someone of proven facts when they just say it's a conspiracy. They reject your reality and substitute their own.

Quote ( Joe Manifold @ August 27th 2017,01:47:36 ) Days getting longer/shorter would depend on the earth's orbit around the sun that would be years, the length of days depend on the speed the earth is spinning on its own axle.

Quote ( Willem Van Mierlo @ August 27th 2017,11:43:19 ) that would be years, the length of days depend on the speed the earth is spinning Joe is technically correct, days getting longer/shorter is because of the Earth`s tilt.

No no, it just means that someone is keeping the giant flashlight on different lengths of time on different days.
There is no such thing as science, even though I'm quite comfortable communicating globally via internet and mobile phone and navigating via satellites man has never went to space :D
