Sorry to see Andrei go. He was indeed a great host and a great guy all round on the forums and in game. Unfortunately we need more Andreis for all sorts of reasons but in the meantime I wish him well and hope to see him back regardless of what he says.
It's been a blast Andrei and don't be a stranger!

Can the Manager of the Season award be named after Andrei?
Or call it the "Caledonian Award" in homage of his S1 win with Inverness?
It is very unlikely that I will be returning, Mark. If you guys wish me to leave you my e-mail (I believe some from the F1 Revisited days still have it), PM me and I'll give it to you. Just don't misuse it. ;)
You're always welcome for a drink or two (just not alcoholic for me) whenever in Bucharest. :)

I'd second that.
Never say never Andrei :) Likewise I'll happily buy you an Irn Bru if I ever find myself in Bucharest!

sooooo... who won? :)
I know that I got 2/3 for the last three matches, so 3 goals for me.
I think I got 0/6 lol.
But as Rafa said who did win?
I got 2/3 in the 2nd half so unless Nazir got 3/3 i think i have won the promotion match. If i didn't i am unlucky with a 5-5 :P

So..... what does this mean for the standings?
Well, in a stunning turn of events, Newcastle United, by virtue of their loss to Stourbridge, have found themselves out of the automatic promotion spot, as Kyle Morris' Stourbridge side find themselves through on the win, securing a spot in the Championship next season! Meanwhile, Newcastle will have to battle Leicester City in an all-English playoff to determine their fate for next season. The other playoff will be a Trans-Atlantic affair, as Liverpool face NY Red Bulls to see who secures the other Championship spot up for grabs!
In the Championship itself, it's Cork City playing the role of choker, as their league-high 3 goals are not enough to see them through to the promotion playoff, as Bayern Munich matches them -- the only 2 teams to have 3 goals in the Championship this week! Meanwhile, Cherno More and Hearts of Oak take care of their business, each winning against their opponents. They'll be playing with the big boys in the Premier League next season, marking a return for Cherno More & a quick rise by Hearts of Oak!
Finally, it's been seen before in the Premier League, but never quite this way. Knowing they have just an outside shot at the championship, Jagiellonia Bialystok put 5 goals past league-leader Manchester United and end the Red Devils' championship hopes. And as the door opens, who comes through but VVV Venlo, who have a tense 1-0 match with Ajax -- but 1 goal is all they need as they are crowned the Premier League Champions for the 5th time in 7 seasons! Most notably, their only two losses came against teams that had a perfect, 6-goal week. The runner-up is Mantova, but they fall 1 point short of defending their title, and must wait for next season. This victory means that either Stefan or Rafael have won the title 12 of the last 15 seasons. But this day belongs to Stefan, who is your Season 22 Premier League Champion. Congratulations Stefan!

I got a mention in a Greg football game :D
1-0 for Stefan? And I was the one bribing Ajax? lol :)
Man United dropped from 1st to 4th... unlucky.
No wonder I didn't get the automatic promotion spot, I played one less game than my opponents! :)
Anyway, congrats Stefan! :)

Fixed -- sorry about that!

If everyone is on board, I'm more than happy to add this on (currently the Super Cup is the Caledonian Shield) -- Andrei, if I know him, will always try to say "no". But that won't stop me :)
Just call it Caledonian. It has a better sound to it. :)
You guys have a few days to PM me to request my mail. After which I will no longer login ...

And... I'm again in the relegation playoff! :P
