I don't buy any of these games that requires internet connection in single player mode.

It's really shame, because this could have been great game.

This is an awesome game, have been playing since the 1st beta version was available. I play this game with the Ligitec G29 steering wheel.

how does anyone have a ps4 without an internet connection...if you are simply doing it out of principal, that is fine i guess, your choice...but it is the companies right to protect their product.

Anyways, you are missing out on a really great game. Even without psplus (you only need that for sport mode), the campaign mode is actually pretty solid and it's quite lengthy and the arcade has you covered for single player racing. And the livery editor and Scapes are awesome as well.

So if your ps4 is connected anyways...what is the difference?

I don’t like the approach of this new Gran Turismo.

I tested GT5 and GT6 (same physics engine) and it feels basic and oversimplified. The tracks, too. I mean, great fun but too arcadey. And even if it is pointless from the “sim to train rookie drivers” point of view (getting precise with the Red Bull fan car being the exception) the fun side of it relies on the “target” playing mechanism of GT5&6 the new game lacks.

If you want quick fun, buy it. If you want to get inside of things learn to mod RFactor or Assetto Corsa.

Trouble is, in order to be able to do that you need a decent computer as well as a racing wheel (if you are going to be serious about it at least) whereas with Gran Turismo, you just need a playstation.

In terms of realism, I agree with you. Gran Turismo (and Forza) aren't anywhere near as realism or sophistication of the top level sims for PC, but yet again, it suits their target audience perfectly.

rFactor isn't that heavy on the PC, I once ran it on my first PC which had a potato for a graphic card.

And decent wheels(could also buy one slightly used) aren't that expensive. Too bad you can only go with a G29 for PS4 onwards, it's just a rehash of the G27 basically, but the shifter is now excluded and you need to pay extra to buy it.

I think this is the best quality online, http://gpro.hirl.de/images/steffl/logo_gpro.jpg GT Sport needs SVG files though.

I n00bified my 458 GT3 for the manufacture cup races earlier this week, in the traditional Ferrari racing colours of lime green and bright pink.

Sorry to dig up the old thread here, but I'd rather not start a new one and it's not my fault GT Sport isn't popular enough to have an active thread :P

But it is Kazanori Yamauchi's fault... as polyphony don't have any community feedback or a way to report bugs.

Tonight a bug removed a lap from my race, at... the Nurburgring Nordshleife! That's a long lap! And it was an official race, with points for the FIA Manufacturer cup.

If anyone can help me get my video trending, I'm doing all I can to get it on the desk of someone, anyone, at Sony / Polyphony...

Long live GT Sport, down with bugs.

I made a little overtaking compilation a couple of months ago, I'll share it here too (most are from A+/S daily races and there are a couple of lobby races in there).
