Hi, just started playing and now doing the Practice and Qualifying section. After every lap there is a message about correcting the settings but I am having trouble with the Engine setting.

I keep getting this message after every lap... engine revs are too high. I have set it as high as 900 and as low as 400. What is the correct setting??

The setup depends on parts, driver, weather and track, and no one will post here a value for you mostly because:

1) It is forbidden to do so
2) There is not enough info.

Yet, you should look very carefully to your driver's feedback, definitely the feedback when you had 900 should be different to the one you get in 400. Read then carefully since it can be confusing sometimes.

I recommend that you should join the mentor program

If you still getting the "too high" message when you set it to "as low as 400", it probably means the 400 setting is still too high maybe.

No one will answer this question.
But I have a question to you: When you have a field with 3 digits, why do you think that 900 is the maximum and 400 is the minimum ?

1) Are you sure that the little "comm ball" is active on the row in question.
Sure, it should automatically follow the laps and activate the last used lap, but some browser may not work properly, that's why I ask to make sure

2) Are you absolutely sure you adjusted the engine value
sometimes one may accidentally adjust the wrong part
