I think you normally have to do it by race 15 or something so chances are you will actually be entered into Pro 9 next season unfortunately, meaning nobody will replace you. You'll then be retired at the end of next season due to inactivity (missed X number of races).

Well if he's relegating anyway then yeah it makes no difference, just means he definitely hits amateur and then retires end of next season.

At the end of the season managers in Amateur who didn't race in any of the last 6 races of the season, managers in Pro who didn't race in any of the last 9 races of the season, managers in Master who didn't race in any of the last 12 races of the season and managers in Elite who didn't race in any of the last 15 races of the season will be removed from the game before the next season starts.

Looks like you may have to miss 9 races Jez
