Hello! I have suggest for admins: can you do "Spam" button or black list?
I suggest this, because I don't like emails about Platinum Cup from the Manager of A12 group. Probably, if I do not answer, means I'm not interested in it? Why do I need to accept this unnecessary flooding again and again? Please consider the proposal on the introduction of this button. Such random mailings should be regulate.
Your opinion?

Your opinion? We have been able to manage this, so far, with a simple PM to a moderator/administrator, Victor.

He posted in my group forum, which I don't consider it bad, but sending PM's or e-mails is too much.
He has a forum topic to promote his game.

Quote ( Eduardo Sanchez Carenzo @ December 14th 2018,02:48:17 ) but sending PM's or e-mails is too much. About the PMing, I asked Admins 2 days ago if he got similar permission, did not get a reply so far.
Quote ( Eduardo Sanchez Carenzo @ December 14th 2018,02:48:17 ) He has a forum topic to promote his game. And about his topic, I Messaged him also 2 days ago and I have assisted (and offered further assistance) to help him set it up to host the game in it.
My opinion remains the same, we should be able to solve these cases through PM

Florencia, I think that every manager must have a Spam button in this case. It is Intrusive spam. He has a topic and let he playing there.

Intrusive spam or authorized (not the point of the discussion), I still think a PM should solve it, Victor, and there's no need for any buttons. Is there any reason why you feel you cannot PM a member of the Crew if you notice something you think is not ok?

May be I have some problems with English...For me is easier to push the Spam button, than write a new letter to the moderator...)

No spam button should be implemented without a text field to explain the problem; makes the button spammy itself otherwise, and easy to abuse :D
A PM should not be complicated, something like: "hey, noticed this guy PMed me about this and I think it's spam, can you help?". You'd get a reply asking further detail if the information is not sufficient.

The approval from the administration does not give him the right to fill up the forums and managers mails with any unnecessary information. This is my position.

Again, we are discussing a Spam button here, Victor; not the actions of a certain individual. That is a matter for the Crew to deal with.

Good, I agree to see spam button and text field for explain the reasons. ;)

I think if you see 10-15 same messages with the Spam mark without explain the reasons, you can understand it without many words;)

We do have a mailbox Autoban feature for consecutive PMs (ask some Silly gamers about it, many of them got autobanned by it :D ). If the case is different, then it does need some human analysis.
Then, I also have a more personal opinion that, with this community size, things should not be that extremely impersonal :/.

Or you could've answered to the manger in question: "Sorry, not interested"
I bet that would've helped.
And If it does not work, then...
Quote ( Florencia Caro @ December 14th 2018,02:47:53 ) PM to a moderator
But I'd start with answering with a simple message which indicates that you're not interested. Even two words as reply might have solved this for you already

Agree that a spam button is not necessary; but have also encountered such “games” (here and elsewhere), and they can be very annoying!!

That was, word for word, my response.
However, I don't want this episode to influence other managers. Without this single case being addressed it could become common place, and few of us want that.
