General Game Rules:
1) Read the rules. Even if you almost know them off heart by now. You never know.
2) Be civil within the game thread. While heated discussions and accusations are encouraged, anything deemed excessive by the moderator may result in action being taken against the player(s) concerned.
3) Play to win. This does not necessarily mean you need to survive, unless this criterion is listed in your role PM.
4) Living players are expected to contribute to the game thread at least once in every 24-hour period. While this is the minimum tolerated level of activity, posting more frequently is strongly encouraged. The 48 hour period comprising Saturday and Sunday (weekend) is considered as one 24 hour period. If circumstances mean you will be unavailable for some reason, send the moderator a message to discuss how best to proceed.
5) Voting is mandatory. All players must have a vote in place by the time of each deadline stated by the game moderator. If instalynch is reached, then this rule will not apply. Voting is expected to be presented in the standard GPRO Mafia format, in bold, and on a separate line:

Votes not presented in this way will not be counted.
No lynch is a valid option.
6) If a lynch deadline is reached without anyone being instalynched then there will be no lynch.
7) If any player is modkilled or must be replaced the deadline in place at that time may be extended at the moderator's discretion.
8) Dead players are not permitted to post in the game thread, nor communicate about the game with any living player. Any violation of this rule may result in the parties concerned being barred from future games.
9) No players are permitted to discuss the game with anyone outside it, unless permission is given within your role PM or expressly by me. Any violation of this rule may result in the parties concerned being barred from future games. If anyone contacts you about anything regarding the game do not respond and notify the game moderator.
10) Attempting to use site mechanics to your advantage is against the spirit of the game. While it is acceptable to notice someone has been posting elsewhere and comment on that, anything else, such as looking at profiles or monitoring activity, is forbidden.
11) There will be no twilight (talking after a lynch has been decided) in this game. After a lynch the game will proceed to the night phase. Once an instalynch situation is reached players are expected to stop posting. Anyone posting after an instalynch has been reached will be punished if it is by anything more than a few seconds.
12) All living members of the mafia will be able to communicate at nighttime in a QT, separate to this thread.
13) The moderator may not be online when an instalynch is reached. Players' vigilance and patience is therefore required, and all posting should cease as per the rule above.
14) At the end of each game day the moderator will provide a deadline for the submission of night actions. Failure of players with these abilities to make their intentions known to the moderator by the deadline will result in no night action being performed, and potentially a punishment for the player concerned (at the moderator's discretion). Night actions cannot be altered once they have been sent to the moderator.
15) Editing posts is strictly forbidden. Please think before you post. If you need to make a correction to an earlier post, please do so by posting again.
15) Quoting your role PM, an off-site QT, or anything written to you in confidence by the moderator is forbidden and may result in being barred from future games as well as modkilled in this one.
16) Any modkill made (and the reasons for it) will be clearly posted in the game thread. Any player who is removed from the game in this way automatically has no chance of fulfilling their win condition. A town modkill automatically ends the game day. It will be at the mod’s discretion as to whether scum modkills end the game day.
17) At each stage of the game the moderator will explicitly state when posting can begin. Posting before this time may result in a punishment for the player(s) concerned.
18) For all random events in the game, including the specific variation of the game and role assignment, www.random.org will be used to determine the outcome.
19) On the rare occasion that the moderator makes an error, this should be pointed out by the players, and their patience is requested while it is resolved.
