Ligier JS5 GP Results

1. Mairo Toom
2. Ivelin Dobrev
3. Alex Nikodem-Wing
4. Lyee Chong
5. Gary Harding
6. Quentin Rieg
7. Norbert Márfi
8. Onur Guardian
9. Matija Gjurčević
10. Constantin Heller
11. Patryk Szeffler

Mairo Toom takes his first win of the season and Ivelin Dobrev in 2nd makes it a 1-2 for Matra. But none of this stops Gary Harding from emulating Lewis Hamilton in 2008 and coming home in 5th to win the championship! This is now Gary's third championship!

CONGRATULATIONS TO GARY HARDING F1FG SEASON 183 CHAMPION!!

Matra's 1-2 means that they keep their team championship hopes alive. But they are still 31 points behind with just 38 points available in the remaining two races...

only took a string of 9th place finishes for me to go. no. i won't go quietly. a string of 4 straight podiums and 2 wins on the bounce saw me storm back to the top

The question is can you have 2 more points finishes to make it a clean sweep of the season?

Ensign EN179 GP

Ensign managed to trump their debut effort with their 1979 "cheese-grater" N179. The car failed to qualify seven times, and only finished one of the races it qualified for. The radical design saw the car's radiators built into the middle of the front end - but would you be surprised to learn that the car had trouble with overheating? Another one bites the dust.
