Hmmm could have been better that. Out of interest what are the criteria for separating ties in the overall points standings? Couldn't see it in the OP when I looked just now...

10. End of season ties will be broken using GPRO's method (i.e. most wins, then most 2nds, then most 3rds etc.)

Confused.com then - why is Kali ahead of me on 54 points? I've got a 2nd place, he's only got a 5th place at best as far as I can see?

Is that just because we aren't end of season yet?

It's because he has more SRS than you, so is technically in a better position. At the end of the season everyone uses all SRS and it goes to what I quoted :)

Mid season it goes Points-SRS-number of wins.

RACE 15 RESULTS

FINAL STANDINGS

Congrats to Patryk S. who claims the SRS-B title this season, winning by a sizeable 4 point gap and achieving the 2nd highest point total ever in SRS-B with 67 points. Patryk began his season well able to conserve the most SRS in the first race, leading to the win and 15 points in Race 2. Races 5 & 6 were also likely key for Patryk as he spent 10 SRS to score a bonus point and a healthy SRS gain in Race 5, followed by a 2nd place on just 40 SRS in Race 6.

Patryk adds a SRS-B title to his resume in a 24 player season. He will make his first return to SRS-A in his return from retirement and will seek his 2nd SRS-A title as he enters his 5th SRS-A season

2nd place goes to longtime SRS player Dominik K. It is a great performance as he is the only player to finish within 8 points of the winner. Dominik also had a key race 6, where he scored a victory with just 43 SRS spent. He also managed three 3rd place finishes on the season. Dominik continues his impressive form in SRS-B, having successfully promoted in all 6 seasons he has played. Hopefully for him, he can improve his SRS-A form as he has relegated in 3 consecutive seasons in the top league.

3rd place goes to Kali H. who successfully promotes to SRS-A in his 1st season in the game - well done to him! Kali promoted using a successful mid-pack strategy and scoring at least 3 points in 12 of the 15 races. He will be 1 of 3 rookies competing in SRS-A for season 38 and the Rookie of the season title

THINGS TO NOTE:

> It is not an error - Tim R. did submit for R14
> Quite the unbalanced spending in the final races - 8 SRS scored a point in Race 14!
> Unfortunately for Jonathan B. & Tom B. > all-ins in Race 14 would have gotten them promotion
> 5 players managed to score points in both of the final races, however only 1 of those players managed to promote
> 5 players separated by 1 point at the promotion line >3 players just missed out on promotion with Nate L. claiming the 1st alternate position thanks to 2 victories.
> Gangadhar A. scored 38 points in the final 3 races to promote, thanks to a pair of narrow wins in Race 13 & 14

CONGRATS to those in the rest of the 8 promotion slots for SRS-A:
> Gangadhar A. - In his 2nd stint and 5th season of SRS-B, he promotes to SRS-A where he will battle for the Rookie title next season
> Michael H. - He has his 2nd successful promotion in 2 attempts in SRS-B and will look to improve on his 20th place finish in his only SRS-A season.
> Quentin R. - Patience pays off as he successfully promotes to SRS-A after 6 SRS-B seasons. Each season has seen his season ending position improve and will look to continue.
> Greg T. - His 4th successful promotion in 8 attemots, however it took 4 seasons this time. He will enter his 20th SRS-A season in search of a 2nd title.
> Aaron L. - In his 1st season back from retirement, he succesfully promotes to SRS-A for his 5th season in the top league.

FINAL TEAM STANDINGS

CONGRATS to PATRYK SZEFFLER, our Season 37 SRS-B League Champion

CONGRATS to MCLAREN, our Season 37 SRS-B League Team Champion

CONGRATS to the top 8 who PROMOTE to Season 38 of SRS-A League! - Those in the podium spots will pick their teams in order and then after the top 3, it will be first-come, first-serve! Each of the top 3 have 24 hours to make their selection, otherwise we will move onto the next person.

So Patryk S., pick your team and then Dominik K. will be able to choose, followed by Kali H. before the it becomes 1st come, 1st serve .......etc.

Thanks to everyone for joining and playing and for making this game a wonderful success.

Season 38 thread of the SRS-B League will open up by Tuesday at the latest. If the SRS-A field is completely set, then it may open a little earlier. All of those players NOT promoting will have a guaranteed spot in Season 37 of SRS-B however you just need to wait until I open the new thread to confirm your spot. I will send a PM reminder when it is available.

Wow, what a terrible season this was :)

Missed a ton of submit deadlines (despite reminders), apologies to both Kevin and Kyle.

@Kevin: i'm taking those missed deadlines as sign of (temporary) fading interest, will hang up my SRS boots for a few seasons.

I cannot believe, i managed to promote. I was in second last position in standings after R 12.

Less spending in R 14 by others helped me to score a win....

Congrats to all promoters...
